Hey guys, I'm gonna write in 3rd person now. It will probably sound better and will be easier for me. Hope you guys don't mind!

After Chris took her to their bedroom and told her to stay in there, she laid her head down and sighed bringing her hands to her head. She sighed in frustration and was then interrupted by her phone ringing. She took it out of her pocket and saw that it was Lisa calling.

"Hey Lisa!" She said as she looked up into the ceiling.

"Hi! I was just calling to check up on you and to see how you were doing."

"I'm fine actually, and everything is going great. But, it's just that Chris isn't letting me do anything! It's getting quite annoying because he's not letting me help him with anything even when I'm capable of doing it!"

-

Chris stood outside listening to their conversation, and he couldn't help but get a little annoyed himself. In his mind, he was just thinking how he cared about her so much and that he just didn't want to get her too stressed out with things. He thought, "Is she too blind to see that I just want what's best for her?", maybe I'm just overreacting.

-

"Okay. Thanks for calling in Lisa. Have a good day. Love you too. Bye." She said as she hung up.

After she hung up, Chris ran back to the room that he was painting in and turned down the music but not low enough for Analyn to hear their conversation. "Hey Scott, I need to talk to you bro." I said coming up to him and grabbed his shoulders to get his attention. Scott sets his paint roller onto the tray and turned to Chris, "What's up?"

"Dude, I was just listening to what An had said when she was talking to mom, and it was not good. Mom was apparently calling to check up on her, and Analyn said that everything was fine, but she said that I was being too protective of her and that I wasn't letting her do anything." He said as his eyebrows knitted together.

"Hm, that's surprising." Scott chuckled.

"I'm serious bro, this is not a joke. Is that really true? Do I really not let her do anything?" Chris said with concern.

"It actually is dude. Even though she's pregnant, you gotta let her at least do something. You aren't really letting her do anything at all. It's like you're scared that even if a light feather touched her, you would freak." He said as he picked up the paint roller and started painting lazy lines.

"Oh man. I feel terrible, what do I do now? Should I talk to her about it?"

"No! You can't let her know that you were eavesdropping or she's gonna be real mad at you." Scott said.

"I'm a mess dude. You know what? I'm just gonna forget about it, forget that I even heard what she was talking to mom about." Chris said as he shook his head and ran his hand through his hair.

"Alright, but hey, if you ever need anything, I'm here for you Chris." Scott said resting his hand on Chris' shoulder to comfort him.

"Thank you, you know, you're the best little brother that any older brother could have?" Chris laughed as he grabbed Scott's neck and put him in a chokehold.

"Stop it! Unless you want me to put all this paint all over you!" Scott laughed as he tried to get away but struggled, "Okay Christopher, I'm fucking serious let me go."

Chris let go and backed away with hands above his head in surrender with a smile.

"Hey, why don't we hang out tonight, just the two of us. I'm sure that Analyn wouldn't mind managing a couple of hours by herself. She also probably needs some time to herself too." Scott suggested.

"Hmm, I don't know Scotty, what if something happens and I'm not gonna be there to help her?" Chris said already worrying about his wife going into labor.

"Nothing will happen, trust me. How many months is she anyway?"

"She's six months, three more months and we have two newborn baby boys. Isn't that fucking crazy?" Chris said in shock as his eyes lit up.

"Wow. Time flies huh? Okay, so anyways, please? At least ask her, I'm sure that she will agree on letting you go out for a couple of hours." Scott said as he walked to the bathroom to rinse his hands from the remaining paint spots on his hands.

Chris followed and did the same in the bathroom that held two sinks. "Fine, I'll ask her but don't be surprised when she says no because her hormones are crazy at this stage in pregnancy."

"Alright! Just go, we can finish the room tomorrow or something, we still got time in our hands." Scott said as he pushed his brother into their bedroom.

"Stop!" Chris whispered fiercely as he turned around and swatted Scott's hands away and telling him to be quiet. Scott backed away and stayed behind the door.

-

"Baby?" Chris hollered into their big master bedroom.

"Mhm? What's up hon?" Analyn answering back.

"How ya feeling?" Chris asked as he went to lay down next to her and kissing her on the lips.

She sighed, "Just tired, that's all. Do you know what I really miss though?"

"What is that?" Chris said smirking. During their conversation, Chris was tracing light small circles with the pad of his thumb on her tummy.

"I miss us, you know, without the arguing and how we always get mad each other at the littlest things." She brought her hand up to lightly touch his cheek.

"Yes, of course I miss that, but since there are gonna be two little boys coming into the world, there are gonna be some bumps in the road on this long journey. You know that I love you so much baby." Chris said as he kissed her hand.

"Hey, I know that I promised you that we are gonna have a relaxing night tonight, all about you. But Scott asked if we can hang out tonight, just the two of us and he said that you wouldn't mind letting me go for a few hours, I promise I wouldn't come home late..." Chris asked hoping to hear a 'yes'.

"Fine,I guess. But when you come back, you're gonna be all mine." She said as she whispered in his ear.

"Oh yeah? WOO HOO! Thank you baby!" He said as he kissed her on the lips quickly and ran to the closet changing and then leaving.

-

"She said yes! Let's go bro." Chris said pulling Scott's arm and both of them going through the front door.

"Bye babe! If you need anything, just give me a ring!" Chris called out before shutting the door knowing that she heard him.

 -

"Just like the old days right? I'm sorry that we couldn't hang out a lot like we use to, it's just that I've been so damn busy with work and shit." Chris explained as he kept his eyes on the road.

"It's fine, I actually kinda like it when you aren't around as much." Scott joked.

"Wow okay, I feel that brotherly love." Chris joked back.
