Hi everyone!

First of all, thank you for taking the time to read or at least for clicking on the fic.

And why have I written it?

Well, as a long-time Harry Potter fan, I've read many stories about Draco.

Some of them have stood out, but none have completely captured what I've been looking for in a fanfic of this type. I wanted a love story filled with passion, but that also delves into friendships, family dynamics, and the challenges that navigating our world can pose. I aimed for a story that offers comfort but also has the power to devastate readers, and most importantly, make them reflect.

Recently, I decided that instead of waiting for the perfect tale, I'd write it myself.

This is a Draco Malfoy and Theodore Nott fanfic set during their fifth year at Hogwarts. It follows Emily Greenleaf, a powerful Slytherin, while she navigates the complexities of her teenage years.

With the shadow of her family's legacy looming, she faces love, betrayal, and the challenge of forging her own path in a world that demands conformity.

I love redemption arcs, so don't expect any of the characters to be perfect—especially Emily and Draco.  Both will have to face their demons and will make mistakes along the way. Watching them evolve and redeem themselves is one of the most compelling aspects of the story, at least from my perspective.

This story won't strictly follow the events of the Harry Potter saga. While I might include some familiar moments, most events don't align with the books or films. I thought it would be more exciting to improvise and create something new.

Voldemort will exist in this world though, and cause a lot of trouble and misunderstandings, as we all know he loves doing (we've got you figured out, Voldy)

Additionally, English is not my first language, so if you notice any grammar or spelling mistakes in any chapter, please point them out in the comments so I can correct them. (Grammatical mistakes are like one of my top ten pet peeves, so, help a girl out)

DISCLAIMERS

- Even though the story is set in their fifth year, where if I'm not wrong they are supposed to be fifteen, I upped their ages to seventeen due to the mature nature of the story.

- This story is written from Emily's POV, so first person, with her thoughts and opinions. I might write some of the ''deeper'' chapters in the third person, to make them more profound, but I don't know, I'll see as I write.

I also wanted to warn you that this story is not your typical fluff-filled fanfic—it's quite the opposite. Therefore, I'm including trigger warnings for mature content, including s*xual content, kn1fe play, violence, alcohol consumption, domestic abuse, drug use, and mentions of depression and mental health issues.
