Warning: mention of suicide, hate and death.

That lifetime when I held you.

You've trained your whole life for this, so why were you so reluctant to go back in? You wanted this, this was your passion... but.
It was because you were scared. You were scared to be alone, somewhere far from your family, not knowing how people were in Seoul as everything was different.

Yet, you arrived the HYBE LABELS building, nervous but excited. They really accepted you as a trainee. Nervousness filled you. You were just 16. But nevertheless, you did not want to give this opportunity up. Putting a smile and your head up, you walk in the building. Walking through the halls, as the staffs lead you.

The staff left suddenly, without telling you anything. So you stood there waiting, but after a while, you heard music from somewhere. You open the door, of two rooms.

The first door was empty, but filled with clothes, props and set ups. She opened the second door, her eyes widened as she saw ENHYPEN. Her favourite group, she stared in shock, until Jay noticed. He asked who she was and she apologised, "I'm sorry, I'm just new, I don't mean to disturb you."

Jake smiled and walked over, soon, they were friends with her. She shrugged and nodded, though when she talked about how she loved their group.

3 years had passed, since that fateful day, when you first met him, and his friends.

Who knew, Jay thought. Who knew he become so close to you in a span of a few months, the closure.. was different, and he knew it very well. He didn't love you platonically. Romantic love. He sighed, how could he have fallen for you? He should be professional. He should not have these feelings, he should've only know you professionally and for business only. But.. you opened the door to his heart.

The fluttering feeling in his stomach and heart whenever you were around. It was like whenever you smiled, he smiled too, your smile was like an infection. Spreading whenever you were around anyone. He would often admire you when you practiced, or when he was dancing and you were dancing a long side him.

He shouldn't feel this way, not after looking at you as if you were the only one. He felt anxiety and embarrassment when people would talk about how they looked good together. You would often deny it, making his heart drop a little. But regardless of that, he knew if they weren't in a strict company, they would've been together. He loved you, the way he loved music, his guitar, his family and being an idol. Maybe more than that.

You and Jay would often hang out together, sometimes alone, sometimes with his your group and his group.

Today, you and Jay sat together, on the garden bench, away from cameras, staff and other people. Hiding your identity with sunglasses, a cap and a mask. You guys would often sneak out to meet each other, smiling and chatting away for hours.

You looked at him, and he looked at you. Both of you having a comfortable yet playful staring competition. When you blinked and giggled, he would lovingly look at you. Blinded by your beauty, blinded by the way you talked, laughed or moved. He was.. in love with you, your soul, beauty, talents and mind. How could he ever not love you? How could anyone not ever fall in love with you? He always thought that.

As you leaned on him, he flinch slightly, his heart pounding. He slowly put his arm around you, enjoying this moment, pulling you closer, even though you were too close. He laughed and confessed his love for you right there and then.
You were surprised but you didn't say anything. Pulling both his and your mask down, pressing your lips together. That was all he needed. He pulled you in closer.

The happiness did not last though. The fans found out, slowly all your feed was about you and him. Enhypen fans bashed you, online and when you were outside. Hitting you with whatever physical form they had or bashing you with words. The hate was so bad, to the point where you would often get hurt. The company suspended you, you stopped talking to Jay after a while.

After a few weeks, the hate got worse. You were kicked out from HYBE. Everything crushed, all because of a silly mistake of yours. How could you ever show your face to your parents who supported you?.. How could you ever go out in public with this image? You thought everything had ended as people criticised you for even drinking water. As days passed, the hate became so bad, you would often cry yourself to sleep.

One day, as you read the comments.
"I hope she kills herself."
"She doesn't deserve to live."
"Why is she still alive?"
As you read those, you sobbed more, quietly into your bed as the comments made a hole in your heart. You couldn't take this anymore, people made sure you felt like you were not supposed to be alive after that. Whatever happened made you feel that way too.

After an hour, you stood on the top of your chair, pulling down the rope to your neck. Looking straight at your phone, which had many of those comments. With all your prayers you tried not to do what the comments told you.

What could you do? You simply hung on the ceiling as your parents came in, calling the ambulance.
The funeral was held two days after that incident, Jay was staring into the grave, silently letting the tears drip. Holding on to the cap he wore when they first had their kiss, the time he wanted to feel again with you.
But at last.
You were where you belonged, with angels and people who would treat you better. That's all he hoped for, smiling to himself, even though he wished you were here. He knew it was better. With that he put the bouquet of flowers down, with a letter.

Maybe in another life. Until then, he would wait.

I'm sorry if this wasn't as good. I'm not the best writer, I hope you enjoyed it though.
