Kennedy's POV

-

"Come on." I whined into my phone as the dial tone ended. I glanced behind me at the office door and back at my phone.

Harry knows that Eliza is still alive and I promised her I would make sure she remains safe. But now that he knows, I know he's going to want to end the fight. He'll see it as some heroic act.

I've been trying to call her for an hour now, hiding away in our office preparing for Harry to barge in at any moment. Last I knew he was still sleeping but he could wake up any moment.

I dialed her number again and held the phone to my ear, beginning to pace back and forth across the room. I bit down on my nail and listened to the ringing of the phone. Suddenly, it stopped.

"Hello?" Eliza said with a yawn through the phone.

Finally.

"Eliza? It's Kennedy." I sat back in one of the chairs across from the desk in relief.

"Kennedy? Long time no speak. Why are you calling me?" Eliza yawned again.

"Harry found out that you're alive. I need you to run." I glanced at the door again and back at the desk.

"How?" Eliza asked, her voice now higher pitched.

"Does it matter? You need to run. I know he's going to be after you and boy is he persistent." I rolled my eyes at his latest venture of not giving up.

Natalie.

"Where do I go?' Eliza asked as rustling was heard from her side.

"I don't know and don't want to know. I just needed to tell you to run." I sighed.

"Thank you Kennedy dear." Eliza hung up the phone.

I threw my phone into my lap and ran my fingers through my hair. I needed to keep her alive. She saved me, as much as I hate to admit it. She's one of the biggest pieces to us taking down Leonardo. The least I could do is spare her.

I turned quickly as I heard the door opening with a knock. I remained sitting as Harry glanced around the room until he saw me. He only had pajama pants on and bed head, making me assume he had just woken up. I myself was still in my silk pajamas from last night so I couldn't say much.

"Good morning." I smiled at him as I tried to wipe the stressed look off of my face.

"Morning, how come you're in here?" Harry leaned against the doorframe and crossed his arms.

"Making calls." I glanced at my phone then back at him.

"I'm going to make breakfast, what do you want?" Harry asked as he stiffened then stretched his arms.

"I'll eat whatever you make." I winked.

"I'm choosing to ignore that because I need food first." Harry winked back before turning around and leaving me alone.

I took a deep breath and threw my head back. I didn't want to hold this secret from Harry, but I needed to. He wouldn't forgive me if he found out I was keeping a huge 'enemy' of ours alive.

I grabbed my phone and stood up, needing some food to fuel my brain. I closed the office door behind me and ran down the stairs to join Harry in the kitchen. He was taking out pans and ingredients. I sat down at the island and watched him in his new element.
