celebritynews: Jack Hunter has been released from prison. He was given the insanity plea, but was not determined to be too far gone to be sent to a psychiatric facility against his will. His lawyer, Candy Mitchell's adoptive son, Angus Douglas, claimed that because Jack truly believed that Josh McKnight was responsible for the deaths of Lavanda Mariana, Cat Hart and Shelley Mitchell. With Josh being found innocent, and the death of Stacy Hart happening right after, it drove him temporarily insane, which led to him attempting to kill Josh. Jack has also spoken up about the Eddie Sollet situation with his grandchildren, Flori and Kasper Britlet, saying "At least one asshole is getting what he deserves."
