if you're here from love to hate you, i'd like to say thank you so much for reading my little book and supporting me. ash and cas are so close to my heart and i love yall so much.

some background info:

this book follows nath and kyle, who are both side characters in my previous book, love to hate you. it can be read as a standalone, but i would definitely recommend reading my first book before starting this as you will gain a deeper understanding of the characters, their relationships and general timeline of things. there are also events in love to hate you referenced in this book. we will also see quite a bit of our babies cas and ash throughout this book, and all the other characters make many many cameos as well.

speaking of timeline, circling back to you will be in past/present tense, meaning there will be a mixture of chapters from both points of view from "then" - when they are in high school, around the time that cas and asher's story takes place, and "now" - which is six years later. hope that makes sense x

also, this book is slower paced than love to hate you, and for lack of better phrasing, less spicy. sorry if that's not your cup of tea, but rest assured, nath and kyle are actually proper adults in this book, and WILL be doing adult things, if you catch my drift. their story just isn't as reliant on sex and the physical aspect as asher and cas, my silly babies. a capital M will be put in the chapter title if smut does happen (which it will) but don't expect it to come any time too soon.

next: trigger warnings. i'd say that it isn't quite as dark as love to hate you was at times, in terms of strictly how messed up things get, but it does still touch on and talk quite a lot about a few heavy topics that could be sensitive to some. particularly, this book has a strong focus on domestic abuse, and it is depicted many times throughout the book. it is important to the plot, but there will be warnings at the top of each chapter if this isn't something that is comfortable for you.
