Kung Lao meets Venus

After meeting Kung Lao, Serena is seen everywhere around the academy.

She admitted this place was so much better than the senior high school she had gone to. Of course, she is eighteen years old.

She isn't a clumsy fourteen-year-old girl anymore. Everything she had seen, she was signed in for the academy. And that was when she began her training with Kung Lao.

"Okay Serena, show me everything you got," Kung Lao said.

She smirked. "You got it."

So the two began their training while Liu Kang watched them.

Serena dodged his attack as she summoned her power, a lightning bolt. As she unleashed it, she accidentally knocked Kung Lao out.

"Oh, my gosh! Kung Lao! Are you okay!? I am so sorry!" Serena panicked as she ran up to him.

He groaned as he sat up and looked at her, laughing. "That... was... awesome! You did wonder, Serena."

"You call this wonderful!? I could have killed you!" She said.

"There is no need to blame yourself, Serena. You had already won and your choice is to spare my life into friendship." Kung Lao said.

"What's that?" She asked, confused.

"Friendships are playful finishers that can be performed by the winner of a match. If you stand in the right spot, you'll successfully execute the finisher, adding a touch of glamour to proceedings, rather than the brutality of a fatality." Kung Lao explained.

"I see," she murmured.

"What's going on here?" It was then the Sailor Scouts entered the academy and saw Serena had declared a winner.

"It appears Serena had won the match," Raye said.

"This is training Raye, Serena has a lot of learning to train in Mortal Kombat." Amy said.

"Oh, right."

"I wish I would train here." Lita said excitedly.

"If you wish to join Wu Shi Academy, then you are welcome." Raiden said as he appeared from nowhere.

"Wow, really!?"

He nodded. "Of course, Lita. The Shaolin monks and the other fighters are welcoming you."

"Awesome!"

"Are you kidding me? I wanna join the Wu Shi Academy! I wanna learn everything!" Mina exclaimed excitedly.

Kung Lao saw Mina and his jaw dropped at her beauty, eventually stood up and walked towards her.

"I'll happy to train you, Lady Venus."

She blushed heavily as she faced the monk.

She had never seen him so kind and very attractive before.

So she shyly responded to him,

"Um... call me Mina."

Kung Lao bowed down to her.

"Of course, Mina."

She blushed again.

"Holy crap! Am I in love with this guy or something!? It can't be!"

"I could tell she does have a crush on Kung Lao. She isn't hopeless anymore."

Serena thought after noticing her expression.

"Okay, everyone, who is up to Wu Shi Academy?" Mina said, grinning. She pleaded her hands onto the hips.

"I do!" Makoto said, raised her hand.

"No thanks. I'm still a priestess in training." Raye said.

"I had a lot of study to do." Amy said.

"Bummer." said Serena Mina and Lita
