Kyra stood on the rooftop, the rain soaking through her clothes as she gazed out at the city. The cigarette smoke curled into the misty air, carrying with it the ghosts of her past. She inhaled deeply, the nicotine momentarily numbing the pain.
As she exhaled, memories flooded her mind. Childhood moments, tarnished by her mother's alcohol-soaked rage and her stepfather's cruel hands. Teenage years, marked by the struggle to escape, to find solace in a world that seemed determined to crush her.
Kyra's eyes stung as the rain mixed with her tears. She thought she'd left those demons behind, but the scars still lingered. She took another drag, the smoke burning her lungs, yet unable to quench the fire of her memories.
Camillã's voice broke through the torrent of raindrops. "Kyra, you okay out here?"

Kyra shrugged, the memories still swirling in her mind. "I know, I just need this."
The rain intensified, and Kyra let it wash over her, hoping to cleanse the pain and discomfort of her past. Little did she know, this was just the beginning of her journey toward healing and a brand new life away from what she once called
