" Carmen, I need to tell you something " Carmie says as she barged into my room, I sighed, " tell me later, I'm doing math work for the colle- " she interrupts with a sentence I thought I would never hear:

" I'm a Vampling " She says and I drop my pencil, math equations can wait later,

" What the fuck? Since when? " I say as I jump of my bed, abandoning my homework, math can wait,

" Since I turned 13, 3 days ago " She says as I screech out a " WHAT? "

" why didn't you tell me? " I asked as I grabbed her shoulder, " I wanted to figure something out by myself " she says as I sigh.

" Ok, first things first, always make sure to be wearing makeup to cover your vampire glow, secondly, always hide your fangs and your abilities unless you really need them. Also, FYI, Dylan is a mythic/ blended hunter so we have to be careful around him- "

" wait aren't you and him in love? " carmie asked

I wish.

" No and it's complicated " I say as I hear Carmie sigh.

" - ok and always be careful once again. Got it? " I say as she nods as I smile " good, now get out " I say as I push her out of my room, I finish the work I was doing and now I was bored. Then, I remembered that Bailey came back from her trip and I called her.

Phone conversation :

Wanna meet up at Cassie's?

I grabbed my phone and walked downstairs and yelled " I'm meeting Bailey at Cassie's, see ya " I say as I walk out the door. I cross the road 2 times and walk 4 blocks away from my house, 3 blocks left, right next to Hammer and Tongs. I wave to Kev as he waves back.

Cassie's is right next to Hammer and Tongs and it's a beautiful little cafe with amazing food, I would recommend their cakes and homemade ice cream. It's made with real fruits and it's amazing.

Bailey walks in wearing a cute white crop top with the word ' Malibu ' on it in blue and with a black mini skirt and leather jacket with some black ankle boots. She has her hair down and is totally rocking the look.

" Well hello Dua Lipa " I say as she smiles and we hug. We sat down and ordered our favorite foods. Cakes and ice cream.

Duh.

" so how was your holiday? " I asked as she smiled " it was amazing! The sandy beaches, the amazing restaurants, the culture and art.... Oh Carmen, I wish you came with me! We would have had so much fun. " Bailey said as I sigh, " I know but, I have things to sort out " I say referring to my Vampling powers. I take a bite of my chocolate cake as Bailey showed me photos of her trip.

" you know, I actually found out that Carmie is also a vampling and she's been one for a while and she NEVER told me. I'm surprised that I'd never noticed. " I say as Bailey takes a huge scoop of her boysenberry ice cream. " probably because you were busy with your own powers " she said, "that's true " I agree, " soo... how are you and Dylan? " she asked as I smile, " well.... "
