Welcome to Duel Academy

"Attention new duel academy students if you look outside your windows You'll see your new home away from home . Now,now I know you're excited but don't shove. Quite a sight, eh. Now then fasten your seatbelts and set your seats in an upright postion we are going to land next stop academy Island." The man over the speaker announced. 

The new students lined up in an empty classroom all in there uniforms. Faith lucky and suprised she got Ra Yellow. 'probably should have studied for that test instead relying on memory', Faith thought to herself. As she looked over to Syrus and Jaden in Slifer Red. She felt bad for them to say the least. "Good Morning and Welcome, My Students,"  a  monitor turning on with a man speaking on it, " I'm Chancellor Sheppard, The Headmaster here, and you are the best and the brightest young duelists in the world.  Now  please get yourselves settled in at your assigned dorms. I think you'll find them quite comfortable depending upon how you ranked of course,". After that the students all filed out of the classroom heading outside. Faith, Jaden, and Syrus sat outside of the building on the grass area discussing what they had gotten assigned. " Well, I don't know about you guys but it looks like I'm in the slifer red dorm," Jaden said. "Thats cool same with me," Syrus said. Faith stood there while baston walked by and mentally face palmed when Jaden called him over. "Hey, you guys in red, too?" Jaden said looking expectantly at Bastion and Faith.  "Well, now lets see here Yellow sleeves Yellow buttons I dont think so and I think it is the same here for Faith," Bastion states sarcasically in his heavy british accent. Faith rolls her eyes yet nods. "Yes it is Bastion" Faith sighs.  "Oh I get so thats why sy and i are in red"  Jaden looks down at his clothes. Faith face palms while bastion's questions jaden " Please don't tell me that you've just figured that out now.". "So what every think I'm Color blind" jaden  glares at bastion and faith giggle sitting next to jaden. "Yeah ever think kuriboh hair is color blind" Faith adds smirking slightly. "Well, No, actually , I didn't are you color blind ?" Bastion questions him. "No but I could've been see you around the dorms" Jaden jokes. "I doubt that your dorms are over there" Bastion retorts and points to the slifer red dorms. 

"This isn't a dorm. Its like an out house with a deck," Syrus complains as he touches the building. Faith shrugs "At least yall get a nice smell of the ocean. I would kill for a view like this,". "Yeah syrus your kidding me this view is great," Jaden smiles. Jaden opens the doors to his and syrus's shared dorm.  "This is a small room" Syrus points out. "Hey, you're a small guy," Jaden quips, "any way i like it". "Yeah, look meeting at the entrance exams and now were room mates. think we were some how connected in to each other in some past life, jaden? like you were the pharoh and  I was the guardian seto." Syrus question. Faith rolls her eyes and sighs while jaden shrugs syrus off. "No offense but that just lame," jaden shrugs syrus off. " But we could be-" then jaden cuts syrus off "Forget it they broke the mold when they made to two of us". Faith lets out a bitter laugh. "Come on Jaden reincarnation isn't impossible I have been reading up on the ancient kingdoms. Like Sailor moon they say she is the reincarnte of Princess serenity" Faith laughs. "No Jaden's right they might have broke the mold on you all of us for diffrent reasons", Syrus deflates. "Sy, We're gonna have to work on that confidence," Jaden and Faith says in unison. The two of them then look at eachother and laugh. "But first lets work on this pa-" Jaden opens the curtain. "Hey" a mysterious voice cuts jaden off, " Those were closed for a reason!" "Oh sorry about us" Syrus sighs.  "We didn't see you up their," Jaden adds. "Well can you see me now" the figured sits up revealing a koala face figure with a slifer red jacket on the top bunk. Jaden, Faith and syrus huddled together screaming and spooked.

"Would you stop the screaming," the figure balled his fist threating the trio, " Who are you and what you doing in my room?".  "Oh, Sorry My names jaden yuki" jaden went first. "And Im Syrus" Syrus went next nervous. "Names Faith" Faith scratched the back of her head. "Well me and jaden are your new roomates faith was just checking it out," Syrus informs the figure. "Your new alright so let me tell you how things work here" the figure retorted.  "Like what things" jaden looked up confused. "Like when parent's weekend is gonna be?" Syrus adds on.  " Duh, like how the color thing works thats more important than anything" the figure states. "Yeah" the trio questions in unison. "Ya got 3 different kinds of students here: obelisk blue students, Ra yellow students, and Slifer red students.  Now, the blues are the highest ranked students. Some kids are blue because of grades others through connections. Yellow are second highest mostly younger students with lots of potential. Then, there are us, the red wonders." the figure finishes. " The wonders," syrus says "Thats a cool name". "As in, I wonder how flunkies like us ever got this far, maybe. yeah, sorry, but we're the bottom of the barrel here. Oh I'm Chumley by the way." Chumley turns his back to the trio. "Thanks for the lecture about it mister fatty," Faith roles her eyes. 

The trio walks out of the room. Syrus is sulking about the news he's just heard. "Come on," Jaden says, "Don't Tell me your still depressed". "But Chumley said we reds were the worst." Syrus sighs. "Come on Syrus your not the worst since you got into here there are way worst than you like my little brother he is worst than you guys and he's not here and hey you guys could easily get blue im mean we just gotta work at it" Faith smiles. "Forget that," Jaden brushes faith off , "I mean, Red's a sweet color. Think about it.  Like where the term red hot come from. Red,baby  besides the year hasn't even started yet how can we be the worst." Faith nods.  "Yeah your right jaden," Syrus says with new found confidence, "Red is for Red hot Scorching, Dangerous, Hot. I'm like a furnace. Or a really big bottle of spicy salsa dip, right. wait im not a dip.". Jaden runs off and Faith follows close behind.  "Hey Im not a dip" Syrus chases behind the two.  "there's some kind of duel action going on in there" Jaden states as he walks around the main building of the academies halls. "How do you know" syrus questions. "It's over this way, Im sure of it." Jaden nods. "How can you be sure of it, Do you have some kind of Sixth sense for dueling or something", Syrus questions again and faith nods. " Its in the Air Syrus can't ya just smell it?" Jaden sniffs the air. Faith raises an eye brow. "Are ya high jay cause you're talking crazy its in the sound not the air" faith crosses her arms. Syrus looks between jaden and faith. "you two are both crazy " Syrus shakes his head, "plus i would probably smell it if today's pollen count was lower are you sure we should be in here". The trio ends up in the academy's duel field jaden and face looks around. "Too cool", Jaden mumbles looking around. "yea", Faith agrees nodding.  "this is the sweetest dueling arena I have ever seen", Jaden keeps looking around. "Yeah, no kidding it looks completely state of the art" syrus agrees. Three obelisk sit in the dueling arena and point out jaden. "Hey isn't that the kid that beat professor crowler", the one with the glasses pointed out. "Yeah right," Chazz pointed out. The the three oblisk blues walked down and approched the trio. "Hey yall better scram", the obelisk with the red hair point at the trio. "Yeah this hear is obelisk territory", the one with the glasses states. "Oh well how about I duel one of you guys", Jaden scratches behind his head "I'll be a guest duelist.".  Shortly after alexis walks in. "Hey Chazz the Obelisk welcome dinner is starting soon" Alexis spots the trio, "Oh hey the slifer and the Ra dinners should be starting two." Then at the drop of a hat the trio runs off going to thier respective dorms.
