One sunny afternoon, Shubman and Nila found themselves at the local grocery store, meandering through the aisles with a shared sense of domesticity that felt both comforting and intimate. They joked and laughed, picking out their favourite snacks and debating over which brand of pasta to buy.

"Are you sure you don't want to try the whole wheat pasta?" Nila asked, holding up a box with a teasing smile.

Shubman wrinkled his nose playfully. "I'd rather stick to the regular one. Whole wheat tastes like cardboard."

Nila laughed, placing the whole wheat pasta back on the shelf. "Fair enough. Regular it is."

"Wait you ate cardboard?" she asked making him laugh.

With their shopping cart filled with an assortment of groceries, they made their way to the checkout, chatting about their plans for the weekend and reminiscing about their favourite moments together.

After paying for their items, they stepped outside into the warm afternoon sun. Shubman carried the bags effortlessly, his free hand reaching out to take Nila's. They walked down the sidewalk, their fingers intertwined, the world around them bustling with life.

As they reached a quieter spot, Shubman suddenly stopped, turning to face Nila. He set the grocery bags down on the ground and pulled her closer, his eyes filled with warmth and affection.

"What are you doing?" Nila asked, a smile tugging at her lips as she looked up at him.

Shubman didn't answer immediately. Instead, he cupped her face in his hands, his thumbs gently caressing her cheeks. "I just wanted to do this," he murmured softly, leaning in to capture her lips in a tender kiss.

Nila's heart fluttered at the unexpected gesture, her arms wrapping around his neck as she kissed him back. The world around them seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of them in that moment of pure, unadulterated love.

The kiss was sweet and unhurried, a silent declaration of their feelings for each other. When they finally pulled apart, Shubman rested his forehead against hers, his eyes still closed as he savoured the closeness.

"You have no idea how much I love you," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion.

Nila smiled, her heart swelling with affection for the man who had captured her heart so completely. "I think I have some idea," she replied softly, her fingers gently threading through his hair.

Shubman chuckled, his eyes opening to meet hers. "You're my everything, Nila."

"And you're mine," she whispered back, her voice trembling with the depth of her feelings.

They stood there for a moment longer, wrapped in each other's embrace, the world around them bustling with life yet feeling strangely distant. In that simple, stolen moment, they found solace in the love they shared, a love that made every ordinary day feel extraordinary.

With a final, lingering kiss, they pulled away, their hands still intertwined as they picked up the grocery bags and continued their walk home.
