As I opened my eyes , Bright rays of Sun piercing my eyes...
I realised that my Windows were shot open as I felt some burning sensations on my skin, I hurriedly closed the windows, covering it with curtains,,, yeah it's not, Sun rays kissing my delicate skin anymore , It could be a long time ago but now it's not possible, Now, whenever you will go out in sun without those rubber and metal Attire, you will be burnt alive for sure , it'll eat you alive instead of kissing , it's now getting freakin' hard to survive on this Earth , it's not beautiful anymore....
With all these thoughts, I got ready & head outside as everyone was told to meet that "new girl".
Lemme' tell you that anyone from my team doesn't live in their personal home or apartments , there are rooms in our sci-lab that are on top of it because going out in Sun daily is really a big deal for us now, so we all shifted here.
Here I am sitting on my table from half-an hour but there is no sign of anyone..
After sometime Eden entered the laboratory, his chiseled face , with piercing blue eyes and a strong jawline. His dark messy hairs , and a few days' worth of stubble adds a rugged edge. He wore a worn black leather jacket, a faded white T-shirt, and frayed dark jeans, with scuffed black boots and a silver necklace with a small pendant. His overall look is rugged and battle-hardened, with a hint of sophistication., that's what he looks like
It's rarely seeing him wearing informal clothes & that suits him so well... but why is he wearing it today ?, maybe something special..
"Where is you lab coat Eden?"
"We aren't going to do any chemical experiments right ? So I thought of wearing this, isn't it good ?" He asked pointing at his clothes.
"That's looks so good on you Mr."
I chuckled
He thanked me for my compliment and sat on the chair right beside my table diving into his phone.
"Good Mornin" A cheerful voice filled the laboratory.
"Good morning Liam !!"
I greeted back and get back to my work & hearing the duo's convo.
"Where are others?" Eden said looking here & there
"Stop looking around Eden , they aren't flying" I blurted
"Maybe , coz' everything is possible Ken" he said with a not so sweet smile crept on his face
Everything is possible if a stubborn like you says that
"Eden ! What about that new girl?" Liam
interrogated
Idiot !! She must be on her way!!
"She will be here soon" Eden replied
I am curious about what got into her that she is joining us at the last moment, I am surely gonna ask her.
