"this is so annoying" Zhang Hao sat at his place and put his head on the table looking outside the window, it was raining and he hoped no one would talk about the stupid group project but just then,
"hey! Zhang Hao!" The moment hee heard he exhaled harshly. "What Jaemin?" He asked as the boy sat beside him, taking out his things. Jaemin was studying medicine too, Zhang Hao is not really close to him but they just somehow became friends because they were in the same class for two years now. "So about the project, can I be in your group? If there's still a place?" Jaemin asked, "unfortunately, it's just me in my group" Zhang Hao said with an expressionless face. Jaemin just smiled.
"So, let's find two more people then" he said in the nicest way but Zhang Hao's annoying ass decided to just nod. Jaemin got up and god how he wished he could've smacked the back of his head for what he just did. "DOES ANYONE WANT TO BE IN A GROUP WITH ME AND ZHANGHAO?!" he shouted loudly enough for the entire class to hear. Zhang Hao sat straight, face palmed himself and shoved his face into his hands. Two girls decided to join us, well thanks to Jaemin because he's well known in the uni. Zhang Hao sighed in relief and finally he didn't have to worry about the group anymore.
Professor Kim came into the class and started his lesson. After a few hours,the class ended and professor Kim decided to get on everyone's nerve by opening his mouth to tell "I'm assuming everyone has their own group now, and the project should be finished by next week". He left the class and everyone started sighing and groaning, some even cursed him out.
"Okay, I know this really good cafe around here and we can do our project there, I'll send y'all the location. How about today at 7?" said Jaemin. "Sure!" The two girls replied in a high pitched voice and Zhang Hao just nodded. "Alright then, bye girlies and bye Zhang Hao~" Jaemin said as he wink at Zhang Hao. "Ha..ha..bye.." Zhang Hao said as he laughed awkwardly.
Zhang Hao went out of the class just to see Taerae and Gyuvin bickering in front of his locker. "Gosh, go and fight somewhere else will y'all" he said while putting his things in his locker. "He said this guy does not look handsome?! Just look at him, a literal goddess" Gyuvin said with a guy picture on his phone. "He looks like he would chase kids for candy" Taerae said making Gyuvin scoff in disbelief.
"Whatever, I don't need your opinion, Zhang Hao! what do you think about him?" Gyuvin asked waving his phone right at Zhang Hao's face. "Fine, I guess" he replied making Gyuvin scoff again, "FINE?! JUST FINE?, I can't believe y'all, I thought we were friends" Gyuvin dramatically held his phone to his chest and sobbed jokingly. "Oh shut up" Taerae smacked the back of his head with a book making Gyuvin wince in pain. "I'm going to a cafe later to work on the project, y'all want anything?" Zhang Hao asked while they walked out of the uni. "oh yes, Yujin said he wanted chocolate cake" Gyuvin said and Zhang Hao nodded "what about you?" He asked Taerae, "nah it's fine, I don't want anything" he said and Zhang Hao replied with a okay and they walked home.
Before Gyuvin could even open the door to head inside the house, Yujin shouted. "WHERE'S MY CHOCOLATE CAKE?" Gyuvin sighed "kids nowadays" he said while shaking his head , "I'm heading out later I'll buy it, gosh" Zhang Hao said while taking off his shoes. "You should quit shouting" Gyuvin said making Yujin roll his eyes. Taerae fell right on the sofa trying to sleep and told everyone that he'll pour hot water on whoever that disturbs him. Zhang Hao went to his room and got ready to head out.
Suddenly he heard a knock on his door and it was Yujin. "What?" Zhang Hao asked while fixing his hair. The door slightly opened and he saw a head peaking inside. "Um..can I come too? please? I want ice cream too and if you buy you'll pick the most disgusting flavor so.." Yujin begged with his doe eyes, Zhang Hao exhaled and nodded "I'll give 10 seconds to get ready"
He said and Yujin jumped excitedly "I am ready!" He said and ran downstairs to put on his shoes. Zhang Hao smiled softly at the youngest behavior and headed downstairs.
They both got into the car and Zhang Hao drove to the cafe. "This cafe is really hot nowadays, I didn't know you knew this kind of places" Yujin said excitingly. "My friend told me about this place" Zhang Hao replied "of course, I forgot you were uncultured" Yujin said, Zhang Hao just ignored him and continued driving. They finally arrived at the cafe as soon as he parked his car Yujin stormed out and ran to the cafe, Zhang Hao shook his head and got out of the car, he headed inside the cafe and saw Jaemin waving his hand, he took a sit in front of him and saw Yujin ordering something.
"I didn't know you had a brother" Jaemin said while sipping his americano. "He's my friend's younger brother" Zhang Hao replied and Jaemin nodded. Yujin sat beside him of course and greeted Jaemin, "aww you're so cute" he said making weird noises while pinching Yujin's cheeks. "Haha..th..anks.." Yujin barely managed to talk because of Jaemin squeezing his cheeks making him unable to talk. Hana and Minji arrived too, the two girls who are in the group project as well. They sat down and they all started to discuss about the project.
"Here's your order." That voice sounded so... soothing to hear? It was weird. I
Zhang Hao turned his head and they made eye contact. "You're-" he got cut off by Yujin who shriek happily, "Thanks!" He said as he took a bite of his chocolate cake. "Yo Hanbin! Come sit with us" Jaemin said and Hanbin shook his head, "nah it's fine, I've got work to do, y'all enjoy and you too kid" he said as he ruffled Yujin's hair. He looked at Zhang Hao and smiled and he did the same. Jaemin looked at both of them and cleared his throat "ahem so how long are y'all gonna stare at each other?" Hanbin laughed softly and went back to the counter and they continued discussing about project.
