Y/n POV

When I came too, I woke up and I was surrounded by the kids I went to detention with. I groggily sat up and put a hand on the back of my aching head. It felt sore. I must have hit the ground pretty hard...

My math teacher, Mr Pevensie, was the only teacher in the room now. He offered me a hand to help me up, but that didn't stop me from seeing the angry look on his face.

As I stood up, all the kids in the library with me were all staring at me like I did something so wrong it may as well be mass murder. I looked at Mr pevensie and went to ask what happened, since, I know what I thought happened was crazy and couldn't be true. I mean, come on. Miss Henson couldn't have turned into. Well, whatever she turned into! And my ocarina couldn't be fixed- that thought was cut short by Mr pevensie's voice.

"I believe this, is yours?" He said. And I look down at his hand, he was holding out my ocarina. I instantly took it and analysed it. It wasn't broken. I could have sworn that the twins broke it. I look up at him to say something but he spoke first.

"Principles office. Now!!" He yelled the last part. I flinched. I looked around and all the kids had started to whisper and mumbled together. I look over at Ashley and Silvia and they were snickering and looking at me with a shocked expression.

The next thing I knew, I was sat in a chair next to my mother, infront of the desk my principle was sat at. Mr Brookestone glared at me as he spoke.

"Witnesses, said that Ms y/n here, ran around the library shelves and then proceeded to push the shelves over as if they were dominos!" Me brookestone said sternly with a shake of the head. "What do you have to say to that, ms 'y/n'?"

I didn't know what to say. My words were caught in my mouth, but they were begging to rip out my tongue. Surely the other kids had to have seen Mrs Henson turn into that, that- THING!? Surely! I shook my head to it and answered in the most honest way I could.

"No!- no, sir, that's not what happened!" I said in a fast manner.

"Oh really? Then, y/n, explain how the library is trashed beyond on reason!" Mr Brookestone said.

The words were stuck in my throat again. I looked at my mother who was looking at me too. But she wasn't angry? She seemed, worried?
I looked back to the principal and spoke.

"I was- I was defending myself-"

"From whom?"

This was going to sound crazy. "From Mrs Henson.."

Silence. Absolute, silence.

"Mrs.. Henson?" Mr Brookestone echoed.

I nodded. "Yeah. Y'know, the attendance office lady?.. with the pasty skin and... red.. nails?" I felt my voice trailing off as I saw Mr Brookestones expression change and change into a deep confusion.

"Y/n, there is no one working at this school by that name" he said.

There wasn't? So maybe it didn't happen? But then how was my ocarina completely fixed? And why was the memory so, vivid?

When I got home, I expected my mom to be furious. As soon as I closed the door to our house, I instantly started to apologise and explain. She raises her hand up and I stopped talking. She told me to take a seat as she sat down on the couch. I took a seat on the other end and I looked down at my hands that rested on my lap. My legs shaking up and down from stress and confusion.

"Tell me what happened. Exactly, what happened" my mother said in her soft angelic voice.

So I did. I explained the whole story from the moment I stepped into detention. I told them about Mrs Henson, about Silvia and Ashley and how they broke my ocarina. I told her about how Mrs Henson turned into a horrid monster and how she attacked me. I told her that my ocarina appeared by me, unbroken- and I told her how I.. killed? Mrs Henson. And I finished it all off by saying "and I am so, so sorry that I got expelled." In a soft yet desperate voice.

I expected a lecture on how crazy that story sounded, but my mother just nodded. She gave me a sweet, comforting smile and brushed a hand over my hair.

"I believe you." She said.

I had no idea how. And I was about to ask how before she said "and I think it's time you know the full truth on who you are."

That instantly got my attention. I looked at her with confusion and opened my mouth to speak but instantly shut it so she could explain.

She sighed softly through her nose and spoke. "Y/n. You know all about Greek gods and the monsters they killed?"

I nodded. What else could I do? My voice was no use to me right now.  She took that as an indication to continue.

"But what you don't know, is that they are real. Every story, every god, every monster, they're all real."

I didnt believe her. Well, I believed her, but I just couldn't believe what she was saying. All I managed was a tiny 'what?..'

"And sometimes gods come down to earth and have children with mortals and those children are called Demi-gods and they are also known as half-bloods"

Half-blood... "that's what The monster called me.." I said sort of to myself my also to my mom too. She nodded understandingly and brushed my hair again.

"I understand that this is a lot to take in, y/n. But you need to trust me." She says.

There was a knock at the door. My mom stood up and walked to the door and opened it. The person who walked through the door was Charlie, but, not completely Charlie. She had goat legs?.. she walked in and instantly started to ramble about stuff. All I got from it was 'furies', 'danger', 'Demi-god' and 'camp'. All while Charlie was rambling at a pace even Eminem couldn't speak, I was saying her name and staring at her legs. Each time, I got louder and louder.

"Charlie. Charlie! Charlie!!!"

"What!?" She turned to me with a scared expression.

"Charlie, why do you have half a goat in your pants!?" I said as I pointed to get legs.

"I don't have a goat in my pants! They're my legs!" She sort of yelled back.

Oh gods, they were her legs.

Charlie turned back to my mom. "I need to get y/n to camp!"

"Camp? Camp, what camp!?" I said, but obviously they didn't hear me or they just ignored me.

"I've made an Iris call to camp, and they should be on their way." Charlie said.

I million thoughts were running through my mind. I was a Demi-god!? Charlie was a goat?! I just killed a monster- a 'fury' as what Charlie called it, and what the hell was this 'camp' they were on about!? All those thoughts were shut down as I heard the sound of horse hooves pattering outside.
