In the midst of their plans to expand Kakery and their growing bond, Kaia and Aman found themselves facing an unexpected twist in their journey together.

One sunny afternoon, as Kaia was preparing for the lunch rush at Kakery, she noticed a familiar face in the crowd—a striking woman with dark hair and a confident demeanor.

Her heart skipped a beat as she recognized Naira, Aman's ex-girlfriend, standing near the entrance.

Naira's presence sent a ripple of unease through Kaia.

She had heard Aman mention Naira before, but their relationship had always seemed like a distant memory, overshadowed by their own blossoming romance.

Despite her initial apprehension, Kaia approached Naira with a warm smile.

"Naira, it's good to see you," Kaia greeted, trying to keep her tone friendly yet composed.

Naira returned the smile, though there was a hint of tension in her eyes.

"Kaia, hi. It's been a while."

Kaia gestured toward a nearby table. "Would you like to sit down? Can I get you something to drink?"

Naira nodded gratefully, settling into a chair. "A chai would be nice, thank you."

As Kaia went to fetch their drinks, she couldn't help but wonder why Naira had come to Kakery.

Was she here to reconnect with Aman, or was there something else on her mind?

When she returned to the table with their chai, she decided to address the elephant in the room.

"So, what brings you to Bikaner, Naira?" Kaia asked gently, handing her a cup.

Naira hesitated for a moment before answering. "I'm actually here for work. I heard about Kakery and wanted to see it for myself."

Kaia nodded, sensing there was more to the story. "And how have you been?"

Naira sighed softly, her gaze thoughtful. "I've been... well, trying to figure things out. A lot has changed since Aman and I were together."

Kaia listened quietly, her heart racing with conflicting emotions. She had never expected to face Aman's past like this, and she wasn't sure how to navigate it.

But she knew one thing for certain—she trusted Aman and their relationship.

Before she could respond, Aman walked into Kakery, his face lighting up when he saw Kaia and Naira together. "Hey, what's going on here?" he asked, his voice filled with warmth.

Kaia glanced at Naira, then back at Aman, her expression composed. "Naira was just telling me about her visit to Bikaner. Seems like she's exploring the city."

Aman nodded, his smile faltering slightly as he turned to Naira. "It's good to see you, Naira. How have you been?"

Naira met his gaze evenly. "I've been alright, Aman. Just keeping busy with work."

Their conversation remained polite but tinged with an underlying tension.

Kaia excused herself to attend to a customer, giving Aman and Naira a moment to talk.

As she busied herself behind the counter, Kaia couldn't shake the feeling of uncertainty that lingered in the air.

What did Naira's unexpected visit mean for her relationship with Aman?

And more importantly, how would Aman react to this unexpected reunion?

When Aman approached her later that afternoon, his expression was troubled. "Kaia, can we talk?"

She nodded, her stomach knotting with apprehension. "Of course, Aman. What's on your mind?"

He took a deep breath, his gaze searching hers. "I didn't expect to see Naira here today. I should have told you about her earlier."

Kaia swallowed, trying to steady her nerves. "It's okay, Aman. Your past is your past. What matters is us, right now."

He nodded slowly, relief washing over his features. "Thank you, Kaia. You mean everything to me."

Despite his reassurance, Kaia knew that navigating their relationship just became more complicated.

As they closed up Kakery that evening, she couldn't help but wonder how their bond would withstand the unexpected twist that Naira's return had brought into their lives.
