Bothering my father to ask about Theodore's visit is something I decided against. He is familiar with my friends.
"I'm here." Nott's voice brings me out of my mind.
I flash him a smile as we indulge in a hug.
"Welcome home, honey. The kids missed you." I joke as I pull away from his chest.
"I missed their mother." He plays back as we make our way into the large estate.
The comforting fall air is quickly replaced by the cold eerie atmosphere within my home. It is quiet, too quiet.
