As Childe introduced himself to the group, Jean unholstered her sword, protectively stepping between Childe and Aether. Aether instantly picked up the misunderstanding as he slowly grabbed her hand holding the sword and guiding it to the ground.

"Jean, don't worry he won't hurt us."
"You wrote about him and other Fatui agents and harbingers, I do not trust him one bit."
"You don't have to trust him, but trust me."
Jean looked at Childe as she thought about Aether's words, with a sigh she sheated her sword.
"Thank you."

Jean looked at Klee who had smiled at the sight of Jean protecting Aether. She walked to her and gave her a head pat, making sure she wasn't dirty or in need of anything as Aether and Paimon talked to Childe

"Now Klee, be a good girl, okay, I still don't trust him but we must play nice."
"Okay."
Jean was mostly talking to herself about Childe, he was a Fatui harbinger, one of them kicked her god, and even though one responsible was dead, She still wasn't sure. As she looked at Aether he was giving goodbyes to him.

"Childe is going to his hotel and we should too."
Jean suddenly had her eyes open, she never booked a hotel for them.
"Me and Klee have nowhere to rest, this is gonna be difficult."
Paimon noticed the problem and she got a two-sided idea.
"You can crash at our place."
Aether without a beat agreed.
"You always wrote and told me that you have a house on the go but I never understood the concept, so I would love to see what you meant."

Aether pulled out his Adeptus tea pod. Klee being the wonderous child she is asked a question.

"Does it work like the magical bottle we found in Sumeru?" Klee looked curiously at it, then she touched the lid, and she got sucked in. With a sigh from the rest of them, they touched the lid and got sucked in as well.

It was now morning, and all four were walking around the Court of Fontaine. Klee and Painon were talking to each other, mostly about books and food, which Jean and Aether, walked a little behind them as they watched them having fun.

"They seem to be having fun." Jean seemingly added.
"Yeah, Paimon and Klee get along fine, they hung out a lot when Aether had stopped in Monstad."
Jean smiled at the sight, it felt like a small family.
"You ever thought about settling down in Teyvat? I mean I know you travel a lot and you always say home is where my sister is but even if that."
"Sometimes? I have a lot of friends here, it would be foolish not to think about it."
Jean gave him good food for thought, he cares about people here, especially her, but settle? He never thought about it, before he could think about it further he felt a tug on his belt, as he looked down he saw Klee with big red eyes.

"C'mon, we will miss the show! We need to go catch an aquabus!"
"Alright, Klee we're going don't worry."
He looked at Jean who nodded.
"Lead the way "Honorary knight."
Jean laughed at the title, she didn't even make it on a spot back there, but now he wasn't her subordinate, he was a friend, and she planned to make the most of it.

All four got out on Erinnyes Island and started their walk towards it. Aether had his idea and picked Klee up on his shoulder, they were walking close to each other, and all four had a conversation about the best thing they had seen in Fontaine so far, Klee was fascinated by the guards being fully mechanical, Jean being a bookworm was interested in romantic novels and Paimon being Paimon, she was interested in food.
Aether on the other hand was interested in the Archon herself, she seemed off, same as the guy who saved them in their first meeting.

He didn't dwell on it much as they walked toward the fountain, there were a lot of people, praying towards the fountain.

"Huh, a lot of people, mostly couples holding hands." Paimon remarked.
"Oh archon, please bless us with a strong and healthy child."
After hearing them and with a little bit of deduction Paimon, Jean, and Aether deducted it was probably a tradition.
"It's a nice custom, something similar when we pray towards Barbados to guide us in a storm." Jean gave an example.
Aether nodded to the example when he heard a voice, coming from the fountain.
"Vacher."
Aether looked surprised and looked around himself.
For Klee on his shoulders, it was funny as she yelled "Weeee." as she was thrown around.
Then the voice sounded again.
"Vacher....Vacher."
Aether understandably looked concerned.
"Did anyone say anything?"
All he got was a collective no.
"You hear voices Aether?"
Jean spoke, concerned.
"Whose voice was that then?"
Before he could get his answer answered, Lynette walked towards them.

"Welcome to the Fountain of Lucine. All the water flowing through Fontaine converges here, it's customary for newlyweds to come here and wish for children."
Paimon jumped from surprise, which Klee laughed at.
"Wah! Lynette! You scared Paimon! Never do that again! How did you get here anyway?"
"Lyney asked me to wait for you."
"Ah alright."
"I also welcome Grandmaster Jean and Spark Knight Klee."
"By the way Lynette, have you heard any voices? As if they were coming from the fountain?"
"Not really but it might be the fact that you're sensitive to hydro element? Since you're standing where all waters of Fontaine converge it might make sense, that you gather powers from the elemental energy, and since all water from this nation converges here, it would be logical."
Aether didn't buy that, not one bit.
"Anyway we should worry about my brother first, he might look calm but before every performance, he is nervous that everything must run smoothly."
"Okay Lynette, lead the way."
