More Then Friends? (a Willis clan fanfic)

Chapter 8

Megan POV

When the performance was over I was pumped and ready to hang out with Jackson and Jedi. I was so giddy it was weird, but Darcy was slow. I mean I can tell she was excited with a little hint of nervous, but she deals with emotions differently then I do. I had to keep telling her to walk faster. At one point I literally dragged her to move at the pace I was going. Finally I see the basketball game where we were supposed to meet at, and two boys smiling at us. We finally reached the game, and we greeted each other.

" Hey, that was a really good performance. I really enjoyed it." I said. Darcy nodded in agreement.

" Yeah it was really good. You did great." She looked directly at Jedi when she said the last part, and he blushed. Yes he blushed from something my best friend said. This is so exciting. 

" Umm, yeah thanks. I'm really glad you enjoyed it. I know I've performed many times, but I was just so nervous this time. I think I was nervous  because I knew a pretty girl was watching me." Darcy blushed, and that made Jedi blush.

" Yeah, he was pretty nervous. We were almost late to go on stage cause he was freaking out." I laughed at that. " Well at least someone thinks I'm funny." 

" What makes the comment better is that they still haven't noticed yet." Jack and I both chuckle at that, and then I have an idea. 

*whispers to Jack* " Hey maybe we should leave these two alone to bond or whatever, and we can just go off somewhere. maybe they'll hit it off?"

" Okay just follow my lead, and then we can go somewhere." He turns to them and straightens his back a little, and says," Well Jedi if you don't mind I think I'm going to take Megan around by ourselves. Have fun."

" Jack what ab...." Jedi was cut off because Jack took me by the hand and ran in a random direction.

Jedi POV

Jack just left Darcy and I alone, and I don't know how to feel about it. I mean I think I like Darcy but I don't know if she likes me. Well I guess there is only one way to find out.

" So Darcy, what would you like to do first?" She thinks for a little, and I notice that she is biting the inside of her cheek as she thinks. I thinks it's so cute when girls do that. All of a sudden I see her eyes light up.

" What if we go to the ballon dart game. I have no idea what the name of the game really is, but I'm good at it." I nod in agreement, and motion for her to lead the way. I remember seeing it somewhere when I was looking for Jaeger, but I don't know the exact spot. She lead me through the crowd and we ended up at the game. Darcy started to get out money, and then I stopped her.

" Darcy I can pay. You don't have to."

" It's okay. I have my own money."

" No seriously, let me pay. You're the one who found my brother. It's my turn to pay you back." She put the money back in her bag, and she thanked me for paying. I watched her as she threw the darts, and hit a balloon each time. When she said she was good I didn't know she was that good. Then I went, and as it turns out I wasn't so bad.i only missed two out of the five darts I had. Either way since we combined what we got we got this big pink pig that she seemed to reall like. As cheesy as this was, I gave her the pig.

" Thanks Jedi. Are you sure you don't want the pig?" 

" Yeah I'm sure. Even if I did want it, I would have no place to put it in the bus. Plus this way you can remember tonight." I smiled at her. Then for some reason I winked at her. I saw her blush, and look away. And from the heat in my face I can tell I was blushing too. I had no idea a girl could have such a big effect on me. Especially one that I met a couple hours ago.
