A Darkness from within

Chapter 2.

Everyone could not understand what had gotten into their newest friend and traveling companion Serena, she had gone completely ballistic and tried to kill a bunch of bad people, I mean they did deserve it, but at the same time, Sango, Miroku, and Kagome they had morals, and they don't kill humans, they have certain ways of doing things, they can't just go around murdering people either, even if they do deserve it.

So, this lets everyone get me into a horrible debate about which is the right way of doing things and who's in the wrong.

Serena had called them all hypocrites that they don't mind getting their hands dirty and killing monsters and demons when they kill but when humans kill it's a whole different story, they want to give him a trial and give them chances to redeem themselves when no one is willing to do the same for a demon.

So, she got rather nasty with them and lashed out, and started explaining different examples of how all Creatures will kill no matter what, it all depends on their motivations, They're Not Innocent themselves, they have murdered and killed by accident themselves, especially Inuyasha history.

So, either way, let's begin where I left off enjoy.

Serena wasn't one hundred percent back to normal, but she had calmed down. She had given everyone a lot of lectures and she will not punish only demons. So, the others had to back off on her. But later on, that week things felt like they had only gotten worse for Kagome first Serena called her a Hypocrite and now Kikyo's soul collectors weren't far away.

So, Inuyasha and the others ran into her at a lakeside. Kagome was hungry anyway and they wanted to get some food. Shippo was also complaining he was starving. So, they stopped and happened to cross paths with a soul collector, and they found Kikyo just chilling for the moment.

"Kikyo---! What are you doing out here? Asked Inuyasha" starting up the conversation.

As the others tried to ignore her even though it was hard when Kagome felt threatened. Serena didn't seem to care or to catch on, she had no disrespect for the woman of the dead, but she also understood Inuyasha's past with her. So, she gets it. 

"Hello, everyone, I trust the travels for the search for Naraku is going not so well, Said Kikyo" trying to be nice.

"No, it's not, and it would be nice if we could get that bastard out of the way, Says Kagome" seriously speaking up. "I see, Stated Kikyo" listening. 

"So, what are you doing out here? Asked Miroku" curiously. "I needed to recharge and take a moment for myself, it was the only place that was quiet, said Kikyo" honest with them.

"Well perhaps she wishes to be left alone, we can dine on the other side of the lake, come on guys, Said Kagome" wanting to leave now. She knew it was only a matter of time before Inuyasha started hitting on Kikyo.

Serena however wasn't moving she chose to sit with her. "Might I talk with you for a moment? Asked Serena" lightly wanting to chat with someone else for once. Kagome felt annoyed and asked what did she think she was doing, she was blocking Inuyasha from having a one-on-one with Kikyo. 

"I have no interest in having a one-on-one with anyone, Kagome, I don't know why your mind is in the gutter every time we see each other, we've kissed and that's all, Said Kikyo" glaring at her. 

"Don't take it personally Kikyo, Kagome thinks she knows everything and is right about everything and every choice and never gives up on lectures, so no worries, it's not all about you, she's just mad and jealous and insecure thinking that Inuyasha will leave her for you, and then us, and then Naraku will win and we all die, and that's her thoughts, and she's a hypocrite, Says Serena" serious tone of voice.
