Rise and darken, over the days you become rotten.
Pushing yourself out of bed feeling a heavy weight on your back.
You’ve used so much water from your eyes that the water tower is empty.
Tonight I’ll stare into the dark again until I feel the tears run down.
If I keep going back to sleep everything will finally go away.
Dreaming about having a fairy tale like life.
My eyes glued shut for seasons, my ears blocking out the shouting I hear.
The sounds unlocked my mind, they came to destroy my life inside.
I woke up and my smile soon fades when I see I’m in the same room again.
Playing dollhouse, and their family seems to be happier.
If I glue my eyes shut can it be mine too?
