A/N - i know it took forever for this to come out but because of my huge procrastination problems and i apologize deeply 🙏

this will happen more often so just bare with me ☹️

liam thought to himself while walking back to the apartments.
just thinking about bryce. over and over and over.
kept happening, and almost a daily thing.

liam didn't know why these thoughts of bryce were constant.
liam knew that bryce didn't enjoy him that much, but he tried to not let it hurt his feelings. not that bryce would care at the moment.

——

eventually liam came to the apartment, going up the elevator and back to the apartment he stayed in. liam opened the door quietly, peeking in to see if bryce was asleep or not. he was surprised the door was still unlocked.
but bryce was still asleep, so this made it easier for liam to get the night done without any further problems than he figured he would have.

he simply layed down on the couch, sighing deeply before heading to sleep.

- 10:40 am / saturday

liam woke up first, reason was because of a dream he had. luckily wasn't a nightmare this time though.

"bryce?" liam asked, hoping he was awake or something.

there was no answer, so he just left it at that.
liam then grabbed his phone next to him, sighing deeply. he went to check his notifications to see if anything was new.

it appeared he got a party invitation from amelia.

this was the last thing liam expected to receive, and he was a bit startled.

although, it didn't seem to be too much, just a simple party at her house with the other contestants that he'd seen before in the first batch.
there would be food, drinks, and just whatever to have a good time.
it was set for next week on friday at 8 pm, and liam didn't have anything to do, so it'd be perfect.

liam wanted to go since it had been a while since he'd seen amelia, and well. anyone really. so he wanted to ask bryce to come with him because he didn't wanna go alone.
he'd have to wait till bryce woke up so, he just did whatever to cure his boredom for the time
different thoughts conquered his mind about bryce, and this would vary.
some would be horrific, upsetting, but the one that would confuse liam the most was the fact that liam had daydreamed multiple times about what it would be like to have a good relationship with bryce.
not just any relationship though, but the both of them 'together.'

liam craved any affection from bryce, but it was odd that he ONLY thought of bryce when feeling this certain feeling he questioned.

- 12:04 pm

"liammm.." bryce mumbled out, sitting up slowly.

liam jolted slightly, not expecting that to be the first thing bryce did.

"yea?" liam answered, sitting up as well to see bryce in his view.

bryce didn't answer back, but just got up from his bed, walking over to the kitchen to get something to eat.

"whattt??" liam teasingly said, trying to get an answer out of bryce. "why aren't you answering me? you said my name first, so i want an answer at least."
liam said a bit sternly, kinda upset at the moment.

"well you don't get one right now." bryce finally replied, sounding a bit tired. "i didn't mean to. it was an accident, i don't know why i said that.."

liam sighed, smiling too.
"well then, whatcha up to?" liam asked, trying to start up a conversation.

"nothing." bryce said, then turned to face the backpack. "do you want me to make you something to eat? you can tell me."

"ooh! i want some bacon."
liam smiled, leaning over the couch.

bryce nodded, heading over to the fridge to get some to cook it.
then, liam also headed to the kitchen.
"can i help?" he simply asked. "i think it'd be good for me to learn so you're not cooking for me all the time."

"sure." bryce said, making some room for liam to stand next to him near the stove.

the two spent the next hour or so cooking, and it only took longer because of liam mostly.
since he wasn't experienced in cooking, bryce was going to teach him a few things.

- the next few hours were spent with the two trying to cook together, ending up as a disaster mostly. they had fun during this time though, and liam was the most happy he got to spend this time with bryce. eventually though, the good time came to an end as they cleaned up and ate the food they made together.

"bryce!" liam suddenly called out, remembering something he wanted to ask him.

"hm?" bryce replied, turning to face liam as he was about to go to his bed.

liam walked up to him, turning his phone on to show bryce the invitation to amelia's party that she was hosting.
"amelia invited us to go! i was wondering if we could since we haven't seen her in some time, and i guess it'd be something for the both of us to do?"

bryce thought about it for a moment.
"yea, sure. we don't got anything to do that day, so it's a good time to do so."

liam nodded happily, turning around to walk away to the couch as bryce went to his bed.

- 5:36

the two were minding their own business. it would only be about a week until the party, and they didn't have much going on.
