After the decline in his relationship with Abigail due to her mental health and postnatal depression, Chad started to develop a close friendship with sixteen-year-old Ciara Brady, who was nannying his and Abigail's son, Thomas.
Chad is currently working at Countess W with Sami, Lucas, and Kate after deciding to close the door on DiMera Enterprises and being a DiMera for good once the truth about Stefano was revealed.
In addition to having a close friendship with Ciara, Chad has a close relationship with his ex-brother-in-law JJ, his nephew Theo, and Will Horton.
