Reece Walsh's life is all about two things: rugby and his three-year-old daughter, Leila. Being a professional rugby player is certainly one thing, and he never expected to be juggling that with single parenting, but he found a way to manage it all with Thalia, who helps care for Leila when Reece or her mother can't.
Something changes, however, when Thalia becomes the new media manager for his team, the Brisbane Broncos. Suddenly, this woman's a constant in his professional and personal life.
Reece starts to look at Thalia with different eyes. Late-night conversations and moments of vulnerability have him feeling something he never thought was possible. Mixed emotions around his previous relationship with Leila's mother have him constantly unsure if he's moved on. And to complicate everything, Thalia's employment contract has a no-relationship policy with the team members, with the consequence of possible termination. He finds himself growing feelings for Thalia that are trapped between hurdles that seem too big to jump over. He could risk it all by chasing Thalia or, for once, respecting professional boundaries and personal loyalties and leaving Thalia alone.
