The sound of the waves crashing on rocks from the waterfall started to get faint, as me and Yangyang tried to catch up with the sprinting Chixia. I asked if we can run, but Yangyang denied for some reason. Did she want to keep her etiquette and elegance? Who knows, but we just kept putting our foot forward and one foot backwards in a slow pace. Chixia seemed to slow down as she realized we weren't as energetic as her — even if I was forced to walk.
The sound of the waterfall was now worn out, i can only hear 3 pairs of footsteps fusing into one to create a normal and eerie sound.
We eventually reached a new location, somehow Chixia was gone and me and Yangyang didn't even realize it. Yangyang continued to walk, this was probably normal for her. I slowed down, looking around for the red haired girl until I saw a large , stone dragon statue. It was incredibly detailed, and had a hint of yellow on its long and curvy tail.
I felt like I was gaining a new memory, my surroundings became a blur — then completely black. All I could see was the statue, one of the dragon statues short hands reaching out to me. It wasn't like that... I lifted my hand slowly, it was trembling with a hint of curiosity and excitement. I met my hand with the dragons stone cold hand. My surroundings began to shake, like something was about to happen. It stopped when I heard a loud voice shouting for help and quick and fast footsteps. My surroundings became normal once again, the dragons hand now where it was originally while my hand was left floating in the air.
I put it down, looking back and seeing Chixia running and Yangyang with a face of worry. There was a big enemy in front of them, my eyes widened as I ran to them. Yangyang looked at me.
" Y/N, let's fight this big guy, come on! " Yangyang pulled out her long, green and black sword. I looked at my side and saw a sword as well, when did I gain this? I took it out, gripping it slightly.
Yangyang made the first attack, lifting the enemy up magically.. Like she used wind or something. It weakened it from what it looked like. She stepped back, looking at me and nodding.
I ran to the enemy in somewhat of a heroic way, gripping my metal sword tighter. I swished it at the enemy, one of it's limbs torn apart. I did the same move, cutting the enemy into pieces and it's remains vanishing. I heard claps from behind me, it was Yangyang again.
" Im surprised you have a little fight in you. " Yangyang giggled, putting her hands down. " Now that's dealt with , let's go find Chixia. " She walked past me, signaling me to follow. She went up a pair of rocks, and I did the same.
Eventually we reached a tunnel like area, it was dark but we could see light coming from far— which I assumed was the opening. We walked and walked and found Chixia, standing outside it at the ledge. I stood beside Chixia, while yangyang stood beside me.
" Huh, where's Baizhi ? I thought she would be here. " Chixia put a finger on her chin, letting out a thinking sound.
Who was this baizhi? I looked at Yangyang, hoping she would provide me with a answer — but she was looking somewhere else. I looked in front of us, and saw a opening on a ground down and saw a person standing.
I pointed at them, looking at Chixia. " Is that her? " Chixia looked at where I was pointing, her eyes widening.
