"Oh my god!!!" Leah could hear Kika's scream from a few meters very clearly as if she was screaming in her ear. She furrowed her brows from this, but she couldn't hide the gentle smile – the excitement she always got when hanging out with Kika was undeniable and incomparable. She never loved someone's company more than hers.
Leah opened her arms welcoming the other girl to hug her, and Francisca jumped right in there. The first thing Leah felt was the smell of her perfume and shampoo, mixing all together in that hug. She tightened her grip around her friend, swaying left to right. It was good to be back with her friends, Leah could never deny it.
"It is so nice to finally get you here," Kika said after taking a step back. She had that wide grin on her face, a bit shining from the sweat - the weather in Belgium this weekend was promised to be hot. "Pierre is obviously gonna complain, but don't listen to him, he loved it when he heard you were coming," she rambled as she turned around to look at her boyfriend approaching the girls.
"Pierreeee Gaslyyyy," said Leah copying the tiktoks she saw a couple of weeks ago, roaming through the F1 fandom. The Max Verstappen song and Daniel Ricciardo's phrases were her favorite trends. It had also come to her attention that the edits made everyone seemed hotter than they were in real life, even in cases where it wasn't really possible anymore.
Like in example of Alex's boyfriend, Charles, who was walking by the side of his best friend, Pierre.
"Leaaaah Russellll," Alpine driver chanted back, laughing at the situation. They were already wearing some suits - it was the time for free practices soo, anyway – and Leah couldn't lie that this weekend would be better than she thought. She would definitely be caught staring if Kika didn't run past her to greet her boyfriend, as if they didn't see each other a few minutes ago. While the lovebirds were chatting really quick about something, Leah was left standing awkwardly next to Charles.
