Chosen One?

The family of RIORSONS... it consists of Ema and Carlisle and their three sons Xaden, Ezra and Gabriel. Xaden's 5 years elder than me. He's about a foot taller than me, strong, sturdy, muscular, sharp features and just perfect in everything. He's the new CEO. He's like a multi-talented person. He knows business, about treating wounds as Ezra his younger brother's a doctor, ice-skating, horse riding, golf, badminton, kick boxing blah blah blah. That's all what Kai told me about him. His younger brother who's a year younger than him is a doctor and at last is their younger brother Gabriel who's 2 years younger than me. Xaden and Ezra almost look same as if they are twins but they are not. They are not like other kids who are spoiled kids of a rich papa. There mother raised 'em to be gentlemen and they really are now. They know how to  respect women, girls are drooling all over them whenever the chance they get. And the rumor is that Xaden's secretary's obsessed with him but he takes her just as an employee. 

"Kai will guide you further". he said in a cold tone but before I could ask a question he got out of the car and left as another car picked him up. "So Kai, what the hell was this? Why does he want me to work there? I've got a list of questions. Whatever, it will just help me get more experience." I talked to Kai in a surprising and exciting tone. "I think he found out that his father's helping you. But that's a good thing kiddo." he said as if he was also amazed by what Xaden did. "Whatever, drop me to my apartment. I am pretty tired now." I said and yawned. Since I started taking classes I have started living in my own personal apartment after begging for it to my siblings. 

I am back to my place. Thanks to Kai he's also like my personal chauffer. I changed my clothes into a white silk nightgown and laid on the bed. I was scrolling through my insta and received a text from Kai:

   KAI:  "Be ready by 8 am. You will start to work from tomorrow onwards and don't mess up kid. Remember Mr. Riorson's a punctual and a strict man when it comes to work."

ME:  "He hired me cuz me wanted my skills so I will do whatever I want to. He'll not have a choice except to go on with my attitude". 

KAI: "Be careful kiddo. He may not like it and yup he'll for sure will scold you alot and that's for sure."

ME: " ahhhh!!! we'll see. and Don't call me kid. I'm 18."

KAI: "you surely will get on his nerves kid. And as for age you are still young and dumb too"

ME: "Whatever, I'm gonna go sleep now, go to hell old grumpy uncle."

KAI: " Goodnight dumbass"

I got up early than usual. I got ready for my work. I wore cargo pants, a white crop top, and chunky boots. Dressed as I wanted to and in which I felt comfortable. I was going to work not to impress someone. Well my Uber was here and I left. I was in the office building right at 7:59 am. thanks to college vacations I am able to join this company. 

I joined other employees in the elevator. It started moving. They all left on the 20th floor. Now in the lift was only me and a well-dressed gentleman. I was headed to 25th the top floor and as he was also. Before it could get up to it the light went out. Damn it why did it had to be this time. I was calm as if I get late even now its not my fault its lift's fault. It got stuck not me. so I just sat down comforting myself. That man was still standing I could see his reflection cuz of the bright day, he was taller than me like two heads taller.. and I did not want to just turn my head up to see who he was.

     I brought my backpack with me too(fun talk it was for my snacks). He was continuously observing me but I remained silent.5 minutes passed so he broke the silence and asked, "new here child?" and I nodded in reply. and he said "you are new yet you are dressed comfortably.. that's for the first time here." he chuckled as if he was making fun of me. "Don't judge someone by just the way they dress. Maybe there's more to it." I said but he was amused by my sentence I could feel his gentle aura and he said,"ahhh!!! I see. Anyways I am Ezra." omg he was a Riorson. so I replied as if I was not bothered by his status, "I am Jeycey. And I am an intern here and Your brother hired me." 

"I know he told me about you child." I listened to him and he sat down beside me. I took out a chocolate bar out of my bag and broke it into two pieces and gave one to him and he nicely took it also thanked me too. "So you are Sair's sis but why bother joining here?" he asked curiously but I replied with a polite tone not showing him my attitude since he was polite with me from the beginning and was not rude and cold like Xade. "I had my own reasons Mr. Riorson." "NO... call me Ezra. I am not a CEO or any team leader here" so I nodded and replied "Sure Ezra. But why did the light went down? does it usually happen here?" and he let out a soft laugh and answered my question, "No it cuz the electricians come here every month for an examination and its integral." I continued eating my chocolate bar while he ate his too . as he explained the details to me. Time passed. we were stuck there for atleast 30-mins and now the light was finally back and we both headed to CEO's office. And Ezra grabbed my arm firmly before I could enter in the office and asked me a question, "you did not tell me why you were here. we have never had a young intern here like you. " so I answered him, "Maybe its cuz I am good programmer you can say. though I learned it at a young age. I don't have the degree so skills are all that matter  I guess." He smirked as if he did not believe me and patted my head, "No child, you are the chosen one. Many came here and said they had skills but my brother went to you himself to offer you this internship."
