This could possibly be too much fluff, but I physically can not write angst for the life of me i have been surrounded by sad fictional lesbians for too long 🙂. Same as the rest it'd written in Elphelts pov

We got a dog.

Not quite what I was thinking, but as long as Aba is happy I am too. And the dog is also adorable.

"Dear?"

"Yes Aba?" I said

"We should start to head home, it's getting late.." Aba put the leash on the dog and stood up

"Oh! You're right, Let's go!"

I grabbed Aba's hand and we headed towards the town.

It's been 3 years since Aba started living with me and about 2 since we started dating. We've had some ups and downs, but we've worked through them together.

"What do you want for dinner dear?" Aba asked.

"Are you planning on cooking? I think you should get a few more lessons from me before I let you loose in a kitchen," I try my hardest to speak in the kindest possible way, but she really doesn't know how to cook, At least not actual food. I've made that mistake once.

"I suppose I could learn some more from you first, could I help this time?"

"Of course! Your help is always welcome!"

We made it to the apartment, and Aba let the dog off the leash.

"I'm gonna get everything ready for dinner. Can you make sure the dog has food and water darling?" (Try not to cringe challenge fr, I literally can not think of any good pet names 😔)

"Of course,"

I started getting the ingredients out while Aba filled the dogs food dish.

When she was done she walked over to me.

"What can I help you with?"

"Oh! You can help with the dough, all the stuff is right there!" I said while pointing towards the counter beside me.

"I also left a little note card with the instructions for you"

Aba nodded and went to read the card as I went back to what I was doing

Next thing I know flour is everywhere including on a very shocked looking Aba.

"You okay?" I chuckled a little, Aba didn't seem as amused

"You should go clean yourself up sweetie," I gave Aba a little peck on the cheek and went to get the cleaning supplies for the rest of the mess before the dog consumed all the flour on the ground.

Aba nodded and walked off to the bathroom very obviously trying not to create a trail of flour and I went back to trying to clean the flour up as quickly as I could.

It didn't take to long to clean, and after cleaning Aba and I were able to finish making dinner without any other issues.

"Thank you for the help Aba," I sat down at the counter next to Aba and I passed her a plate of food.

"Mhmm, my pleasure dear," Aba fiddled with her food a little before eating.

"Soooo, are you gonna come to my concert tomorrow?! It's gonna be so much fun! Especially if you show up!" I began to eat some of my food, I swear it tastes better with Aba's help! even if she isn't the best cook...

"Of course, I show up to most of them don't I?" Aba seemed a bit confused I was even asking, but I mean it's nice to know! When I do know I can sneak off to see her before the concert starts!

"Yes you do! I just like to know! How else will I know to meet up with you before?"

"You know you don't have to do that anymore dear," Aba continued to eat.

"And you know I love hearing you wish me good luck!" I beamed at her, Aba rolled her eyes at me, but she still had a little smirk.

We had finished our food by now.

"I'll take your plate sweetie," I reached for Aba's plate just for her to move it farther away and snatch mine out of my hand.

"No I'm doing the dishes tonight" Aba walked over to the sink setting the dishes down and turning on the faucet with a pleased look.

I couldn't argue with her she's to stubborn for that, so I'll just talk to her till she is done.

Surprisingly it didn't take her very long, actually I think if I did the dishes it would've taken me way longer.

"It's getting late dear," Aba said seemingly distracted with washing her hands. "We should start heading to bed, especially if you want to be ready for your concert tomorrow."

"You're right! Time really does pass fast!"

I went to make sure the door was locked while she finished up in the kitchen.

After that we could finally lay down. Of course we had to change first but that's besides the point.

Aba still has her own room set up but it's become pointless. She never goes in there unless it's to grab some random thing she forgot, and still most of her things are in my room or as I prefer to call it our room. One day I'll get around to making Aba's old room back into a guest room but for now it doesn't matter.

Aba was the first to lay down, not counting the dog on her own bed. She opened her arms for me to join her which I gladly did snuggling up closer to Aba.

These past years have been amazing I really couldn't imagine a world without her, love truly is amazing!

"Hey Aba?" I said gazing up at her.

"Yes dear?" Aba sounded tired.

"How do you feel about marriage?"

Aba waited a bit before answering which made me want to immediately take back what I said.

"I think if it's with you I'm okay with anything," Aba spoke softly with a small smile, "now go to sleep dear," Aba ended the conversation withba kiss to my forehead.

Hearing that I could finally close my eyes for the night.

Sorry if this seems like it's to fast paced I didn't have many ideas but I hope it's still fine to read cuz I'm 100% not reading over it sooooo have a great day/night! And I'm going to sleep 🙂
