Vedika's eyes fluttered open, and she was greeted by the sun's warm rays peeking through the window. She stretched her arms and yawned, feeling the comfort of her cosy bed. But her relaxation was short-lived, as her mother's voice echoed from downstairs.

"Vedika, come down fast! It's already 10 am!" Vedika groggily got out of bed and began her morning routine. After doing her business, she hummed softly as she descended the stairs, her hair tied up in a messy bun, wearing a comfy pair of sweatpants and a bright brown t-shirt. Her bright brown eyes sparkled excitedly, anticipating a lovely morning with her family. 

"Good morning, dad & bro!" Vedika said, spreading her arms wide.

"Good morning, Vedika!" they chimed in unison, side hugged her.

They chatted for a while and then she entered the kitchen.

 "Morning, Mom..." She said with a charming smile.

"Morning baccha" her mom, replied flipping Aloo Paratha at the stove, her voice warm and gentle. 

"Can I help with breakfast?" Vedika asked snagging a piece of parantha from the counter.

"Of course, beta. Scramble some eggs, please" she replied and handed her spatula.

"Where is Bhabhi & muchkins" she asked, not seeing them in the kitchen either.

Just then, Siddhi burst into the kitchen, followed by her two adorable twins, Aarav and Yashvi.

"Morning, Mom! Morning, Vedi!" Siddhi exclaimed as the twins toddled around her legs, chirping excitedly.

Vedika laughed and scooped up the twins, showering them with kisses. "Good morning, munchkins! How are my favourite babies doing today?" 

"Goooddd Goood" they replied in a gibberish voice making everyone laugh.

At dining, while having breakfast and doing chitchat, her family asked about her week. She shared stories of her design and her upcoming project at Malhotra's house. Her family listened attentively, offering words of encouragement.

After some time, Rajveer, cleared his throat to get everyone's attention. 

"I also got a call from Mr Malhotra last night." "He invited us to the fashion event tomorrow! He wants us to be there personally, with the whole family," replied, a big smile on his face.

"Whoa, really? That's so cool!" Vedika's face brighten up

"That's amazing! Vedika, you must be thrilled!" Siddhi added 

"I can't even believe it! I'm already part of the event, but this is like, a whole different level!" Vedika nodded, her mind racing with excitement.

"Waise toh hum and aapke papa batana nahi chate se pehle se but we shared the news with you because we could see that you were getting stressed about it." her mom said patting her head.

Vedika embraced her mom and dad tightly, bringing smiles to their faces. 

"We're all so proud of you, Vedika. You deserve beta" her dad said with a proud smile.

As they chatted, Rajveer mentioned, "Advay Malhotra going to be there too. He's the second son of Mr Malhotra, and the new CEO of Malhotra & Co. and returned a few days ago from abroad.

Vedika's heart skipped a beat at the mention of Advay's name. She had heard of him, of course, but never thought she'd meet him for the first time in person that too in a professional way.

"Vedika, you're blushing! Are you nervous about meeting Advay?" Siddhi noticed her reaction and nudged her playfully.

"No, no, it's just excitement and nervousness., nothing more" Vedika laughed it off.
