SaChi OS : Understanding each other

Authors note:

This is my version of the scene where in Sachin and Sailee goes on chai date at night after Tejas is back.  Here Sachin asks Sailee why did she agree to marry Tejas in first place and the answer given in my opinion was not something I wished.

The weather in Mumbai was cloudy and gloomy just like the mood of two mentally disturbed people Sachin and Sailee. 

The man whose one drastic step ruined their lives, Tejas was back at Deshmuk house for good.

The man is rightly named by her husband as "bagodi maina". She was shocked to learn that  he  not only ran away from the wedding but also took with him the hard earned money of her father in law.

She went inside their room in search of her husband who had not eaten his dinner.

"Tum yaha ho, bhuk lagi hogi na ? mai tumhare liye Khana lagati hoon. Chalo.." sailee went towards their bedroom door to make an exit.

"Nahi .. bhook nahi hai mereko ... Tune bhi toh Khana nahi kaya hoga na? Magaj ka dhokla jo hogaya rahega uss admi ko deke" Sachin answered controlling his anger.

Sailee thought it was only wise to leave the house for a couple of hours to diffuse the tension built up. 

"Ek kaam kare,  bhara tandi hava mein walk Karke aaye kya ? .. agar tumhe teek lage toh.. " whispered Sailee not wanting to keep her hopes high. 

"Chal teek hai.. Thoda dil halka ho jayega " he left without turning back to see if she was following him.

Both walked on an empty street for a few minutes without speaking, yet they felt peaceful in each other's company.

"Ek baat puchu , bura mat maan na.. tune uss kajoor se shaadi karne ko haan kyun bola?" Sachin asked the question  which was disturbing him since the time he saw their photos on the wedding banner  when he had gone to drop her at the wedding hall.

"Voh Kya hai na mujhe bhi shaadi nahi karni tee.. mujhe apne pairo pe kadi hokar aai aur baba ka karza chukana tha .. Juhi or baadu ko padana tha..  " sailee eyes teared up remembering her baba

She continued "par tum tho jaante ho..  baba ke gujar jaane ke baad ghar ki halat hi kuch aise tee.. mere baba ki aakhri kwaaish tee mujhe dulhan bante dekhna.. aur aai ne bhi emotional blackmail kar diya.. kaka bhi acche insaan maaloom pade toh phir main ne ladke se ek baar milne ka socha .. "

She further added.. "woh jis din Tejas mujhe dekhne aaya tha uss din mai ne saaf saaf keh diya tha ki Shaadi ke baad bhi mai kaam karke apne gharwalo ka kayal rakhungi .. toh Tejas ne haan kar diya .. phir mujhe koi aapatti nahi tee shaadi se.. "

Sachin got the background and understood sailee better. He wanted to know the answer to another question that's been bothering him since their marriage "phir jab woh mantap se baga toh tune mujhse shaadi karne ko haan kyun kaha ? " 

Sailee was now a little uncomfortable with this question but she thought it's better to be honest "woh Sach kahu toh mai ne mana kiya tha tumse shaadi karne se... Mai toh sida ghara jana chahti tee...par ... Vo aai ne kaha ki agar meri dholi nai uti toh unki arti waah se utegi... Toh unke liye mai ne haan kar dee.. " she was scared to see his reaction. 

Sachin now got a clear picture and all he could do was laugh out loud.. "ek number hai..  ladaku vimaan , tumhari aur mere halat na ek jaise hai ... Tune apni aai ke liye aur mai apne baba ke liye Shaadi kiya... Kya re bappa! Hum dono ko acche bache hone ka saza mil raha hai idar... "

"Haan , lekin ab mai tumhari tarah is Shaadi ko saza nahi maanthi .. Mai apne Zindagi mein aage badna chahtee hun... " She was about to clarify but tripped over a stone and was about to fall only to be held by his rough hand over waist. 

She tightly held on to him by clutching his shirt. The weather was not gloomy anymore. The wind carried a promise of better tomorrow. The moment was broken between them when they heard a horn from the car speeding away. 

"Tu teek keh rahi hai.. Zindagi mein humesha aage badna chahiye... Toh , toh ek kaam kare.. dosti se shuru karte hai.. Kya kehti hai?" Sachin forwarded his hand for a handshake towards sailee hoping she doesn't mind being his friend after all the insults he threw at her for being trapped with her in this marriage.

Sailee took his hand in hers muttering "Friends.. "  Shaking his hand and holding on to his hand she further continued "vaise mai ne ek baat notice ki.. Shaadi bhale tumhare bhai se hone wali tee par saari rasme mai ne tumhari saat puri ki.. " remembering her haldi and mehendi. 

"Phir toh Sahi hai.. angoor langoor ko nahi par mujhe mil gaya.. " smirked Sachin.
