“I gotta confess to him today, Tikki. I have to!” Marinette was doing ridiculous poses in her room for a confidence booster. She also tried to do some air-bicycle exercises to shake off her anxiety.

Tikki giggled at how excited Marinette was becoming. “It’s a weekend, how are you gonna grab his attention today?”

“I’ll ask to…study with him? Gah, no…that’s boring. I’m so tired of school stuff this week. I really should ask him to a smoothie cafe! Or- or perhaps a sandwich shop? I could maybe invite him over…. no, my parents would flip if they saw me bringing a boy home…”

Tikki set down her markers, looking down at the beautiful drawing she made of Marinette. “Ask him to go out for lunch. In my experience, it’s always best to discuss important matters like this face-to-face. If you do it over the phone, you can’t read each other’s emotions very well.”

Marinette nodded. “Great thinking, Tikki. Yes, I’ll ask him out to lunch. A smoothie lunch!”

“Haha, you’re really craving a smoothie today, aren’t you?” Tikki laughed.

“I can’t help it, I’ve been so nervous over all this I didn’t have a proper breakfast.”

Tikki closed her eyes and brought up her hand. Pink swirls appeared magically, and soon she had a gorgeous raspberry smoothie, cold and fresh in her hands. In her other hand she created a pink bendy straw and placed it in the beverage.

Marinette’s mouth watered and her eyes were wide. Tikki gestured for her to take the smoothie, and so she did.

“I forgot you can do that….” Marinette said as she sipped her drink.

“How is it?” Tikki asked, delighted with the look on her betrothed’s face.

“It’s SOOOOOooo good, Tikki!!! Agh-!” Marinette held her head as a brain freeze seemed to settle in.

“Not too fast dear, not too fast!”

The two laughed for a while together. Marinette finished her smoothie, refreshed. She took a deep breath and looked out the window. Yes, today she would confess to Adrien.

“Why don’t you just piss someone off or upset them? Y’know, to increase the chances of an akuma appearing so you’d be able to see your oh-so-lovely-lady~?” Plagg teased, laying on his stomach upon Adrien’s bed. His chin rested in his palms, and his legs were kicking behind him mischievously.

“Oh my god, Plagg.” Adrien exhaled, facepalming. “You know I can’t do that. That’s evil. My Lady would never forgive me if she found out. I also don’t like upsetting people, mind you. Y’know, just COMMON courtesy not to bully others.”

“Hmph. You’re no fun today.” Plagg pouted.
