A new life

As soon as I stepped into the spaceship Serena greeted me with a cup of coffee. "Let me guess. Nathan?" She guessed with a deadpan expression. "Yup." I sighed. "You better not smoke that shit in here." She glared. "Fine but where can I?" I asked. "Dunno maybe when we get to the next planet." She nodded as she thought, taking a sip from her coffee. "Are you serious?!" I rolled my eyes. "Not my fault you're an addict." She deadpanned. "Yeah yeah I'm going to my room." I scoffed, going over to my room which I had for sleepovers. I swung the door open and sat down at my desk. I was scrolling through Pinterest when I discovered a picture of a girl with pink hair. "Huh." I clicked. "Looks like I just got a great idea!" I smirked, getting up to grab my wallet... only to find it's completely empty. "You've got to be kidding me." I grumbled, walking over to Serena's office where she was typing away at something. "Serena." I drawled with a mischievous smile. "Ugh, what do you want?" She groaned, holding her forehead in her hands. "Can I borrow some money? Pretty please? I'll bake you some macarons" I cajoled. "Macarons? Alright I'm in. How much do you need?" She grinned as she took out her wallet. "I dunno... I suppose 5000 credits will do? After all I need the tools." I guessed. "Alright well you better hold your end of the bargain!" She chuckled, giving me 5000 credits. "Thanks Ena, Love you!" I grinned, blowing a kiss as I walked out. "Don't... call me that" She mumbled.
