"Damaged people are dangerous because they know they can survive"
It has been two weeks since the end of the war against Mother Earth and her giant children. The rebuilding had just begun but many are struggling to heal from the physical and mental wounds the past two wars left behind.
The demigods especially were hit the hardest; they suffered many losses both Greek and Roman. The Seven had been left with the responsibilities of maintaining peace and rebuilding all while trying to heal themselves of the trauma that the war left behind. The Gods themselves had only shown up to fight against their bane but had left the majority of the war including the fight against Gaea herself to the demigods. These actions caused many demigods to resent the gods, their anger at the injustice and the inaction as the wars should have never happened if not for the actions of the gods.
The Seven felt the most anger and resentment as they were the ones who had to face life threatening trials and make sacrifices in the name of the Gods who don't even seem to care. Cordelia Jackson, or Cora known to those closest to her, was left the most bitter and resentful, she finally understood why so many demigods joined the Titans.
"Now I'm not even sure I made the right choice in saving them" Cora thought. Was this what she had fought for a temporary peace not knowing if another war was going to start or if she would have to attend another funeral. How many funerals can you attend before the age of eighteen?
Multiple earth shaking roars caught her attention and immediately brought a genuine smile to her face at the sight of her dragon children. No matter what anyone thinks or says about them in her eyes they would always remain her children. They had been with her through multiple lifetimes, each one faced with great hardship but they had never abandoned her and had given her the strength to conquer and persevere through them.
Standing farther away from her was her cousin Thalia Grace, Daughter of Zeus and Lieutenant of Artemis, with her short black hair and electric blue eyes watching with concern. It wasn't just her who was concerned but the rest of the demigods were as well.
Cordelia was greatly respected and loved by everyone. She was beautiful with her golden blonde-silver hair and her vivid sea green eyes with a ring of violet around her iris, but it wasn't just that which made her loved, but her kind, gentle, and thoughtful personality as well.
Cordelia Jackson had a mysterious aura around her that attracted people towards her like a moth to a flame.
Unknown to everybody the three fates were watching and they were displeased with how things had played out. Over the eons, the immortal gods and goddess have ignored the demigods and mortals looking down on them but without them they wouldn't be able to continue to exist. Something that the Primordials, Giants, Titans, and the Gods of Olympus have in common is that they don't understand the hardship that the demigods and mortals alike have faced. So the three fates appealed to the Valyrian Gods, who had been around before even Khaos was created, who agreed to help by showing the deities the lives of their champion.
