Chapter 12

gio stayed all night. he made sure he had his hand on me to comfort me, and for the first time in weeks, I was able to sleep peacefully, and I couldn't have asked for anything more.

I will be honest, I never expected my life to go this crazy but it's fun. does that make sense? i feel like with all this craziness, it makes it fun,  I am so happy that I have this time. i am beyond happy I get to have gio in my life...

morning slowly approached, and he got up and walked downstairs, making me breakfast in bed, I slept close to 10 hours. so after a long sleep, i wake up with a big yawn and stretch, and then gio comes in with the breakfast and flowers... putting the biggest smile on my face.

I've never had a man buy me flowers, but I'm glad he was the first man to do so.
He is the nicest man that i have been with...

I have always struggled with relationships. No one was ever up to my standards until Giovanni.
He's everything and more... he has shown me so much, and i couldn't be more thankful.... but i also wonder, are there more things he knows? About my life? My family?

My thinking comes to a stop when i hear him knock at the bathroom door... as quickly as i came, i got out of the shower and wrapped myself into a warm towel... opening the door to him with a bouquet of roses and a dress

I take it all in and then utter the words, " What's this for?"

He's smiling from ear to ear at this point... my guess is that he's imagining me in this dress. It is gorgeous. it's a short red dress with black gems,

He speaks *this is for our date tonight* he walks to the bed and lays them out onto the bed he turns back kissing me on the lips and says *the car will be here at 8*  and leaves closing the door behind him. 

I stand at the foot of the bed, admiring the dress. It's prettier than the last dress, and this one is off the shoulder with one long sleeve that is covered in the black gems. He thinks of everything when he plans dates, he is truly the best man i have been with.
