The Stupid Plan

Heyo another friday another update. Wait it's sunday....Told ya it was gonna get exciting but I have to pace the book don't want it to be over in like five chapters. Alright heres the next chapter enjoy people.

Cold. It's so cold. Where am I? I sit up and look around the room. It's a cell. What the hell is going on. "I see you've awaken my sweet." No, not this please. "Your not real." I whisper to myself. "I'm as real as you are my sweet." Find a way out. I need to find a way out. I look around the cell again. Theres a window with silver bars on it. The walls are cement and theres a small bed in the corner thats ripped to shreds. "You won't escape. Not this time my sweet and not ever." I whip my head around panic sweeping over my body. Find a way out Charlie. Think don't focus on him.

I jump up and run to the window grabbing the silver bars. I start yanking them ignoring the burns the silver is leaving on my skin. I pull and pull with all my strength. Then something grabs my hair and yanks me to the ground. I let out a low whimper. "I said you won't escape." I let out another whimper and crawl to the corner of the room. This can't be real. I look up at him and then it finally hits me.

I awake screaming. I clutch my shirt right above my stomach. The sheets are wet with my sweat and smell of mildew. My heart is pounding in my chest I try to forget what I just dreamed but the pain of the silver and the coldness of the ground keep reminding me. I shake my head now is not the time. Get over it Charlie stop being weak and just get over it. I look around the treehouse. It's small with a twin bed in the corner, some book shelves and a small desk. I built this place a few years ago for when my life got to much for me to handle. So I come here to cool down and think.

I grab my phone and check the time. 5:04 I still have a bit before my mom wakes up. I jump up and head over to the door. I start climbing down as soon as my feet hit the ground I run towards my house. My rooms on the second floor but a trees right next to it. I climb the tree and open my window. I look around making sure no ones in it. All clear. I walk over to my closet and grab a duffle bag and fill it with clothes and money. Then I get in the shower. After that I go back to my room only to find my brother Jace laying on my bed. "Leaving?" I glare at him and pick my duffle bag up. "Yeah I am. I'll be back in a few days. I just need to cool off." He sighs and walks over to me grabbing my shoulders and making me face him. "You can't just leave every time you get in an argument with mom." I shake his arms off of me and walk towards my window staring at the tree that is my escape. "What if I lose control Jace?" He just sighs again and goes back to my bed. "You're an Alpha Charlie. You need to be able to control it. It's not that hard to do." I snap my head around and glare at him. "I'll be back when it's my birthday to claim the title. Then I want you, Kaden, Alex, mom, and dad gone." I open my window and start climbing out it. "What?!? Charlotte we are your family you can't just kick us out. I'm your Beta." I turn around to close my window. "I can get a new Beta and I'm not kicking you out. I'm kicking you out of the house." Then I slam it shut and run back to the woods.

'Why are you pushing them away?' I growl at my wolf and shut our connection off. I will do what ever it takes to protect my family even if it means they have to leave.

Rowens P.O.V.
(Hehe surprise)

I don't get her. My mate, I don't get her at all. Yesterday I could have sworn she was jealous about Skylar, but if she was then why try to reject me? 'She's fighting the connection.' Why? 'How should I know' My wolf snaps at me and cuts the connection. I shake my head and get out of bed. I really don't want to go to school but I don't get a choice in the matter. Yes I am 18 but my mom would kill me if I dropped out. I walk over to my bathroom and turn the water on. While waiting for it to get warm I walk over to the sink and brush my teeth and shave. I test the water and it's warm enough for me to get in. After my shower I dry off and head for my closet. I put on a black t-shirt, some skinny jeans, and combat boots.

I head downstairs to get something to eat. My Beta Blake is already eating when I get there. "Hey man, heard you found your mate." I growl and open the fridge roughly. He looks concerned but doesn't say anything. "That's a sore subject for him." I glare at Skylar. She just smiles a bit and walks over to the sink to wash her hands. "Why?" I slam the fridge shut and just grab an apple and sit next to Blake. He's a few inches shorter then me. Only 6 feet, with emerald green eyes, longish dark brown hair that curls slightly, really tan, and well built. "Because she's giving him a hard time." Skylar says in a teasing tone. I groan and rest my head on the counter. "She wants to reject me Sky." I grumble at her.

She just shakes her head at me. "And the stunt we...you pulled yesterday probably pissed her off to no end. That girl terrifies me Rowen. What if she kills me because I kissed you?!?" She almost screams the last part. Blake looks up at her then at me and just shakes his head. "Just Alpha command her or something." I laugh at that. "She's an Alpha. The only female Alpha in the world." Blake and Sky's heads snap up at the same time and they both have different looks. Blake looks shocked and slightly impressed while Sky looks utterly terrified. "You mean I was bitchy to an ALPHA!!!" "Well it was my idea to begin with..." I mumble and scratch my head.

She just glares at me. "If I die it will be your fault." She then walks out of the kitchen mumbling something about how stupid my plan was. "What was your plan anyway?" I look back at blake only to drop my head to the counter again. "I thought if she saw me with another girl she'd get jealous, and not reject me. Except her pack mate ripped Sky off of me and threatened her. She only stepped in when I had threatened her pack mate. Then I said some uh stupid stuff and now she's more mad then she was in the beginning." I groan. My head snaps up when I hear laughter. I look over at Blake to see him about to piss himself. Jackass. He falls off the chair onto the ground laughing his ass off.

When he finally calms down he looks up at me and then starts laughing again. If this was anyone else I would have ripped their throats out. I growl at him and that sobers him up. "You my dear friend are just plain dumb." I growl at him and narrow my eyes into slits. He just sits in the chair and looks at me and shakes his head. "You have a lot of explaining to do to your mate and a lot of apologizing." 'He is right. What you did was stupid. Now our mate might never talk to us again.' I'm about to respond when the doorbell rings.

We both walk to the door grabbing our school bags on the way. I open the door and see the blue haired girl from yesterday. "First I did not come here to apologize to that bitch who put her hands on my Alphas mate. Second is my Alpha here?" This girl really does have some guts talking to me like that. She's pretty short I'd say about 5'3 , long blue hair thats put into side braids, pale pink eyes, extremely pale skin, tattoos of clouds and gun shells on her right arm, and well built too. Before I can answer Blake walks around me and pulls her to him saying Mine in the process. Great I get a Alpha female who hates me and a Beta female who hates me great. "Get off of me. I get I'm your mate but I need answers." Blake backs off a little but keeps his hand on her waist she glares a bit at him and then at me. "So?" I give her a questioning look. "My Alpha is she here." She snaps at me. I growl at her which makes Blake growl at me. "No, why would she be with me? Did you lose her? Is she ok? What happened?" I go into full panic mood. My mate might hate me but she is still my mate.

The girl just sighs and comes up to me and grabs my chin and makes me look at her. "I thought she came her to yell at you. She's fine. She got into an argument with her mom and she left. She does this all the time so don't worry. I'm Jinx by the way." She lets go of my chin and sticks out her hand. "Rowen." I grab her hand shaking it. She then turns around and smiles at her mate before pulling him away. Why can't our mate do that with me. I sigh for what feels like the hundredth time today and head for school. Where could my little mate be?
