Cassie's pov
I walked into school and waved to Jess as soon as I saw her. She was my only friend and has been since kindergarten. She herself has many friends but one is good enough for me. Anyways, she hurried over to me with a wide smile on her face.
"Only three more weeks until we graduate!! Aren't you excited?" She exclaimed and giggled, earning some glances from the people around us.
"Quiet down Jess!" I hissed.
"Sorry..." She whispered and pulled me over to the nearest girls bathroom.
"Now, what are you so happy about?" I sighed.
"School's almost out!" Jess said loudly.
"Jess!" I practicly whisper yelled.
"Well sorry, I'm just really excited!" She said quieter this time.
"Yeah me too. I can be alone again with only my mom to worry about." I sighed as I pulled my arms through the long sleeves of my hoodie so I could pat down my face with cold water.
"You doin okay this morning?" She asked concern showing in her eyes.
"Yeah yeah... Just tired." I replied quickly. If I told her that for the past week I was having a reoccurring nightmare she would freak.
"Oh..." She sighed. "Anywhom!!! Be happy with me!!"
"Or naw." I replied and walked off to class.
