— "YOU ARENT DISGUISING this year ?" i raised my head to look at my twin who was standing, leaning at the corner of the door, arms crossed, and his disguise put on. i lowered my head by shaking it negatively. "no." i quietly answered. lucas nodded.
"ugh, you so ugly. seeing you is a nightmare." erica commented, walking to go downstairs. "erica, shut up !" lucas yelled for our sister to hear him, in which, she answered with a middle finger up - even if we couldn't see her -. lucas rolled his eyes, walking in my room, and sitting down next to my feet, his head lowered too.
"uhm.. who gave you the authorization to enter my room ?" i raised an brow, looking at my twin.
he kissed his teeth. "i did," he answered, making me snort. " but, i want you to listen to me, this is the last time i'm doing that." he rolled his eyes again, before taking a big breath."i wanted to tell you that when we were making peace.. im sorry for everything i told you before." he confessed after a moment of silence. "it's just.. just that i.." he hesitantly started, "when i threw you out of the party, it was because i was jealous." he admitted making me raise my brows in total shock.
"how-" he interrupted me to continue, "because you seemed to be closer to mike than i, your brother, and you seemed to look out for him more than me." he sighed, "mike wanted you to stay in the party but- i acted like an antipathic prick by throwing you out." he finished, "sorry."
i smiled at him, "thank you for speaking your heart out," i started, "and yup, you're a real antipathic, whiny, apathetic prick. but you're still my brother. at least, you subtly admitted your stubborn-ish nature, and hard to understand people's feelings if they're not yours, at least in my head you did.." i hugged my twin, making the both of us giggle like little babies.
erica came back upstairs, breaking one of our rare brother and sister's moment. "what the fuck.." the little girl scrunched her nose, "anyway.. mama asking for your incompetent selves," she rolled her eyes, she ran back in the stairs as we followed her and lead us to the garden where our mom was waiting for us, with her camera in the hand.
"ooh," the lady squealed in joy. "my kids are so cute."
"take a picture together, you three." she said, erica scoffed. "absolutely not taking pictures with this nerd, and this nerd lover." our little sister stared up and down at us with her eyes. "erica." our mom scolded the youngest sinclair, through her gritted teeth.
"okay !" erica whined. as our mom took some pictures of us three together, then us two, duo by duo, then individually and now was lucas turn.
