"Hey, grandma," Railey said in a sweet calming voice. "Hello, sweetheart," Christina said. "So grandma nurse Jenny said you started working on the story of you and grandpa," Railey said in a sing-song voice. "That's right Ray-Ray I have and nurse Jen is helping me out with it," Christina said back to her cheerfully. "Grandma our time together seems shorter and shorter with each passing day," Railey said with a sad look on her face. "I know sweetie, but your grandma is doing all she can to get better for you my dear so don't worry and even if I don't make it you will have the love story of your grandpa and I which should be worth a lot to you my dear," Christina said with a warm smile. "I'm sorry to interrupt it's now time for you to go Ray," nurse Jenny said. Railey hugged Christina and left silently. Christina nodded to nurse Jenny and they started writing the next part of the book.

"Well, time to check the message on my phone," Christina said to no one at all other than herself. She saw a message from her dad asking to meet up to which she hesitantly agreed to, but only at a local coffee shop. He agreed, picked the time and place. Christina took a shower, brushed her teeth, and changed into a calmer outfit. No fishnets, no crop tops, no leather skirts, instead a black blazer, tie and suit pants. Instead of boots nice gentle flat dress shoes, and lastly instead of heavy dark makeup light calming makeup took place. Satisfied with her look she walked out and started walking to the coffee shop. It took her about 20 minutes to get there and she sat down at the table her father was at. "Hello, Tina," he said with a grim smile. "Hello, Mr. Darrien," she responded back with a slight annoyance in her voice. "Oh come now dear i am your father why the formalities?" Darrien said with a smirk present upon his face. "You're hardly a father at all you left me to be raised by HER," Christina half shouted half whispered. "Darling that wasn't my choice, you're succubus of a mother charmed the court and she won," Darrien now looking hurt responded to her. "So, she gave me your number, I messaged you now let's talk," she said with a stern look on her face." The waitress comes over and takes their order then goes back to place it and carries on with the rest of her job. Sighing they look at each other and sit for a minute to think. "Christina, I love you and you were my whole world, but your mama made it difficult for me to get custody of you and then she started dating Tim which caused it to be more difficult, I'm sorry sweetheart," Darrien said with a sad look. "What do you mean? Mom said you didn't try at all and that you didn't want me anyways," she stated with a sad smile. "Is that what she told you? no no dear i did fight hard, but she paid someone to photoshop photos to make it look like I beat on her and make me look like an unfit father, I worked hard to get a business degree, got a job, then became a CEO, and your mama wasn't too happy about me working the long hours and she cheated on me with Tim and took you from me," Darrien said looking at her with a arm smile. "Wow, she beat me everyday leaving purple and blue bruises and said I wasn't even worth my deadbeat dad's time," she said while looking down. "I'm far from such, I offered to give her money, offered to take you on the weekends, offered vacations, birthday gifts, holiday gifts, everything and she rejected it every time," Darrien said. "Did you know she hit? Accused me of trying to seduce Tim? She recently kicked me out," she said with tears welling up in her eyes. "No, I didn't know any of this," he said with a sorrowful look. "I don't know what to do on my own," Christina said while crying. "If you don't want to stay in that apartment all alone, I'm assuming it's an apartment and you're alone, you can stay with me, I never remarried, never had more kids, but I do have a couple of pets that will keep you company and since you graduated, I'm assuming you did, I can get you set up at the nearby university, how does that sound?" He asked with hope filled eyes. "Can I think about it? It is a lot to take in," she asked somewhat forming a smile on her face. "Okay, just message me whenever you're ready to give a decision and I'll be there to help you either way," he said with a bit of warmth in his voice." Their food and drinks arrived and they ate in silence the rest of the time. After they were done Darrien paid the bill and escorted Christina back to her apartment. They hugged, laughed and said their goodbyes. Christina walked inside and locked the door. She walked to her office area and started doing research on the university her father spoke of. She applied to it and then started shopping around for a used car along with looking for a part time job. After some time she got set up with an interview for the university, a job and she put a down payment on a car. She then spent an hour contemplating her next move and well decided to move in with her father, listed the apartment for sale, and messaged her father. The time now being 6:30PM she ended up with a knock on the door to which she answered to find her father standing there with a team of movers behind him and a u-haul truck ready to move her things. The movers packed up and moved all of her belongings in the truck, her father let her in his vehicle, placed a for sale sign in front of her apartment, and they left making their way to Darrien's house. The drive took an hour and half which means it's now 8:00PM and Darrien unlocked the gate of his house followed by unlocking the front door of his house to let the movers in. They unloaded Christina's things and set them in proper areas for her to unpack and adjust how she likes. "Well, this is my home, it's pretty lonely here you know since it is a decently sized 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with an outdoor in ground pool, security gate, two garages and enough space for a house cat and German shepherd dog," Darrien said half heartedly. "I see that this place is amazing, thank you for letting me stay here," Christina said with pure joy. "You're welcome and have always been welcome to be with me," Darrien said while smiling at her. His pride and joy finally home with him. Darrien helps Christina arrange her furniture and other items and then helps prep her for her interviews that are tomorrow. After a bit they decided to watch a movie which of course caused the cat and dog to join them. After awhile Christina fell asleep and Darrien picked her up and carried her to her room and laid her on her bed and covered her up with her pink princess blanket, turning off her light and turning on her Christina's lights, closing the door behind him, and going to his room to go to bed himself.
