The Promise Of Love

Chapter 1

Win and Team had an argument which made Team leave the house, leaving Win home alone by himself.

Win continuously kept calling Teams phone but no answer, he started panicking not knowing if his love was going to come home. He didn't know where he was.

Win then left a voice message.

.. baby please come home, I'm sorry for what I did, please answer my call, I'm worried.

After a while, Team called Win.. and Win immediately answered.

Win - Baby?

Team - I'm okay, I'm coming home. No more worrying.

Win -Baby, I'm sorry.

Team - I know my love, I know okay.

Win then hears the car pull up and he runs out the door so quick that he smiles when he sees Team is okay.

The call then gets cut and Team looks up and sees Win standing there trembling, not knowing what to do or say or if he should hug him but Team knew Win so well that he says, "Come here, love." With arms out wide for Win to just walk into.

"I told you I'm okay, we had an argument, and I walked away, I'm sorry for worrying you but I'm here now. Let's talk." Team then guides a crying baby into the house, and they sit down together on the couch, then Team says, "I didn't want to hurt you any more than I knew I was by the way I yelled at you, I'm sorry I didn't stay long or stay with you for this, I know we should've sorted it out before I left but I didn't know what to say, I wish I did then but I do now. Love, look at me please, let me see your face so I can say what I want to." Win doesn't move a single inch, he doesn't look up at all, he just sits there, head down.

Win says, "I can't, please baby just say it." Team then says, "I love you, Hia, I love you more than anything, more than my life to be honest, we got through a lot together, and I want many more years of that, so, me walking out on you when I'm angry, and me walking away because I don't want to do something I will forever regret, so I had no other choice but to leave, I love you, Hia, I always will, and I'm so sorry for hurting you the way I did when I yelled at you. Don't take my walking away from you to heart please, I did it so I wouldn't hurt physically."

Win finally looks up and sees Team crying tears of sadness and heartbreak because of the way their argument led, they never liked arguing because it put a stop to them being a couple together as one, it put them in a spot where they had to part ways to calm down or to just breathe on their own. They hated being away from each other.

Team - Hia?

Win - Yes love?

Team - I'm sorry.

Win - I know baby, so am I.

They hugged each other and then Win gave Team a sweet and loving kiss, one he'd been wanting to give Team since this morning but their argument started before he could.

The argument I had this morning was something unexpected and it surprised them both when the argument happened they couldn't exactly fathom what was happening so they just argued. Win had waited all day to be able to kiss his boyfriend.

After the civil conversation and the apologies that they both said to each other they cuddled up on the couch with each other's embrace, with each other's warmth.

Win - I love you.

Team - I love you more Hia.

By the time they realized it, they were woken up by the sunrise of the new day.

Team - Morning his, what do you plan on doing today?

Win - Not much really, I don't have to go to work today.

Team - Me either.

Win and Team had a couple of days off, so they chose to just be with each other.

Win - Team, I never want to fight or argue with you again, I just want us to be happy and together always.

Team - I love you too Hia, let's make a promise to communicate better and work through our issues together, okay?

Win - Okay, I promise. Let's make sure we never let an argument come between us again.

And with that, they sealed their promise with a kiss, knowing that their love was stronger than any argument that could come their way. They were each other's rock, each other's home, and they would always find a way back to each other no matter what.

As they continued to grow together and strengthen their bond, they implemented new strategies to prevent misunderstandings and disagreements. They set aside time to listen to each other's concerns without judgment, practiced active listening to truly understand each other's perspectives, and made it a point to express their appreciation for one another regularly.
