THE MALL WAS BUSTLING WITH ACTIVITY, filled with the chatter of people walking by and the sound of music blaring from stores. While i lean my back on the wall, my feet gently tapping against the glass floor, waiting for someone to arrive. The smell of various foods filled the air, applying a tempting aroma in my nose.
My eyes scanning the crowd for signs of the person I was supposed to meet.
As I waited, my mind began to wander. I wondered about the people he talks about. I couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation, wondering if these people were the one who would be able to change the future events.
The thought made me feel both excited and nervous at the same time.
The crowd continued to move, but I didn't move from my spot on the wall. I continued to scan the faces, searching for the one I was supposed to meet. Suddenly, I spotted a familiar face in the crowd. It was the person I was waiting for, Kindaka, a colleague of mine.
I took a deep breath and steeled myself for the encounter. When they reached me, I greeted them with a smile. We began to talk, the mall background noise becoming just a blur.
"They're from JCC, so I guess you'll deal with them later, if they are approved to your standard, (y/n)."
He said, while laughing, his tone laced with sarcasm, looking at me, as if telling me that he can handle it on his own.
I scoffed before speaking with an unserious tone, boredom filled my eyes, while tapping my fingers from the metal railings.
"Well, their strength and abilities will be based if they will live or die, it doesn't matter, call me when you need back up. And you should get ready, I already sense their presence, I'll be watching."
Kindaka only laughed at me before nodded, as I watched him, make his way to the lower floor, to meet the four.
"Make it entertaining, old man."
I whispered.
'Taro Sakamotois one of the strongest among them' I thought, as I try to remember the files of the students he will handle.
My thoughts were cut off as a ruckus started to happen, in the lower floor. I slowly looked down and saw the situation, making my lips form into a small smirk.
