The car beeps as the trunk door closes. I grab the heavy box I placed on the ground labeled, "Y/N's ROOM". I take a gander at our new house. I breathe deep as I make my way to the wide open door and enter the house.

I sneeze from all the dust emerging out of these boxes from my dads antique collection. "Bless you." My brother Nick responds to my loud outburst of a sneeze. "Thank you." I reply distorted, placing the heavy box on the kitchen counter and wiping off my sweaty hands. I take a little bit to catch my breath and grab the box again and make my way upstairs.

I finally make it to my room and place the box down. Dust flies everywhere as soon as the heavy box hits the floor. I decide I do not have enough energy to organize and put my stuff up so I exit my room and run down the stairs.

Mom looks over to see where the slight thumping was coming from. "Hey mom can I go outside and walk around?" I ask, she gets super paranoid about me being alone, especially since were in a new town now. Hell, even a new state. "Yeah, just dont go too far!" She announces to me. "Okay thank you!" I exclaim my gratitude as I slip on some slides and head outside.

I notice a few kids on bikes talking together in a group, they seem to be my age so I go up to them.

"Hello!" I try and greet them and get their attention. "Oh- hello!" A red-curly-headed girl turns her head and greets me with a warm smile. "I just moved in, thats my house." I point to the other side of the street. "Nice!" She replies.

"Whats- Whats your nam-name?" A brunette boy follows up with. "I'm Y/N." I reply with a comforting expression on my face. They all smile. "We're we're going to the Quarry later if you wanna com- come?" The brunette boy invites me. "Quarry?" I ask, I'm used to arcades and diners, coming from a big and crowded city.

"Its a big lake we swim in with a cliff we jump off into the lake." A blondish curly headed boy clarifys. "Oh ok got it! Where is it?" I ask them. "Meet up with us at 2:00 and you can follow us." A boy with black curly hair and glasses enlarging his pupils offers. "Thanks, I should get going now, I need to set up my room. See you guys later!" I say goodbye.

The brunette boy blushes a bit as I walk off, I shrug it off, maybe he was just nervous. I walk in and make my way upstairs
