As I became more hooked to Formula 1, I began to appreciate its unique appeal compared to other sports. Football and basketball had always been my go-to sources of excitement and entertainment, but F1 offered something different. The individual brilliance of a driver, the combined effort of the team, and the technological aspect of the cars created a perfect blend of humans and machines.

Football and basketball had their moments of magic, the goals, and the buzzer-beaters, but Formula 1’s magic lay in its pursuit of perfection. Every second counted, every pit stop was a potential game-changer. The speed and danger added an element of raw, unfiltered adrenaline. Watching a driver like Max Verstappen navigate a track at over 200 miles per hour, making split-second decisions, was a different kind of athleticism, one that demanded respect and recognition.

To add to all that, the global nature of F1 added to its pure class.Races took place in stunning locations around the world, each track with unique challenges. The season unfolded like a mega tour, bringing together diverse cultures and fans.A great reminder that Formula 1 was a universal passion, uniting people from all parts of the world.

As the season progressed, my routine changed. Fridays on race weeks were for practice, Saturdays for qualifying, and Sundays for the race. The thrill never faded; if anything, it grew stronger with each passing week. The unpredictability of the sport, the ever-present potential for drama and excitement, kept me hooked. Formula 1 had become more than just a sport to me; it was a source of joy, excitement, and inspiration.

In the end, the COVID-19 pandemic, with all its challenges, had given me a gift. A new passion, a new community, and a new appreciation for the beauty of speed, skill, and strategy. Max Verstappen’s daring moves and the electrifying races had shown me that Formula 1 was not just a sport but a spectacle, a drama, and a passion that rivaled any other.Long live f1, Long live Max Verstappen, nothing but love!
