Their conversations were moments Edgar cherished, hearing Luca's soft yet low tone of voice was almost like a melody, similar to that invention. Having the melodic crisp sticking to his vocal chords it was enough to even melt Edgar's little heart.
Time eventually passed, to the night Luca was made to sleep.
While some others had praised Edgar before they went to bed.
Edgar just explored the area, his light aura glowing through the whole entire darkness, then found Luca, awake.
With Balsa doing his usual thing?
Inventing, Valden tapped his hand with his digital, before speaking, "you said you'd sleep."
He muttered, then heard that damn nervous chuckle."Sorry..."
He half heartedly spoke.
Yeah, he was spending hours on another invention. Having his wooden desk messy with blueprints and papers.
"Sleep."
Edgar firmly spoke.
"Tsk-"
After that tiny click of the tongue, he felt Edgar's hand hit his shoulder, earning a mild 'ow' in return. He was being accompanied by Edgar, as always.
Having his voice right beside his ear, it felt so mind blowing that it was an actual voice, and not a hallucination.
Then, so suddenly, thunder.
The word itself scared Luca.
Luca Balsa being afraid of thunder.
Being reminded on those cold weary nights, of his shaky hands holding onto whatever there was while he was practically having objects thrown at him, for being blind.
Edgar, having his slender arms, around Luca's body, pulling him away from the desk and comforted him, "Edgar.."
Luca softly quivered out, hearing small hushes beside him.Honestly, the sky wasn't helping, it having that loud bang always got Luca afraid.
Bang.
Bang.
Bang.
Obviously, the sounds had ended.
Leaving Luca going back to his invention, having Edgar stay at his side, as those shaky breaths were led astray from his lips.
Hours, had passed, with Edgar out, sitting against a tree.Remembering his shaky, quivery cries from night's prior.
Oh, hell.
