You were quick to bolt out of there, you face a light shade of red and your soulmate sting glowing a bright red. God you felt so embarrassed, Sae was never the person to show so much affection. Especially not in public, so what was that? You didn't bother looking back and just kept walking.

You're now boarded the plane and are just waiting for it to take flight, you took a book out of your bag which you had kept on the ground next to you and began reading. You had packed quite a few books with you so you know you won't at any point be bored.

Soon enough the flight landed, you were now back home. Back in Japan after so many years, after so many years, you would finally see your parents. Getting into an uber you tell the driver the address to your parent's house and you yet again began making your way.

It took no longer than around ten minutes to get to their house, you paid the right amount and the uber left after a minute. You on the other hand, just stood there with your luggage and bag, I mean, how were you supposed to greet them?

Letting a sight slip through your lips you began walking to the door dragging your luggage behind you. Hesitantly you rang the doorbell. No answer. You rang it again. No answer. At this point you're begging to get slightly annoyed.

You were about to ring the doorbell again but before you could, the door flew open. Before you could process anything a body was thrown on you, all of the weight, on you. By this point you knew who it was.

"WAHHHH N/N I MISSED YOU SO MUCHHHHHHHHH" You mother screamed as she latched onto you. Yes, your mother indeed does act like a child at times. "I missed you too mother, and can you please not put all of your weight on me, we're going to fall over." You said with your regular monotone facial expression.

She lets go of you and drags you inside, you dragging your luggage and closing the door as you do enter. Inside you saw your dear father, he was smiling softly at you when he walked over and embraced you in a warm hug. 

"How are you, (Y/n)?" He said pulling away from the hug. "I'm fine" you replied quietly, just loud enough so they would be able to hear you. 'The both of them really didn't change at all' you thought to yourself, smiling ever so slightly.

Just as your mother was about to say something, your phone rang. "Who is it?" she asked, seeming to have calmed down. Fishing your phone out of your pocket you look at the caller id. "Sae..." you whisper. Her eyes light up, "WAHHHHHH YOUR BOYFRIEND????" as she said that your father's eyes darken. 

He was never fond of the idea of you getting a partner, but what can he do, the two of you were soulmates, he could get quite protective at times. On the other hand, your mother absolutely loved the idea of you getting a partner, you remember when you told her you got a soulmate....quite a bit of chaos ensued. 

You father seemed like he was ready to murder ten people while your mother was practically jumping with joy. 

"WELL PICK IT UP!! AND PUT ON SPEAKER!"
