*continuation of 'peace...?'

...

When Isa lifted her head up, she didn't even bother to wipe her tears away. Quite especially when she noticed it was Livia who was asking.

— Why are you acting like this?! — She repeated the question. Livia didn't seem to notice her state until she stopped, widening her eyes. — You're crying.

— Yeah, I am. Can I have... Privacy? — Isa said, gesturing with her hands, sounding slightly annoyed.

— What happened, really, Isa? I mean, we were good. And now, it sure doesn't look like it.

Isa couldn't believe what she was hearing. Okay, maybe she never told Livia that she actually didn't want to even look at her.

Though, she just sighed, standing up, and when she prepared to leave, that was Pietro standing in her way. Their eyes met, and for a moment she thought she lost the ability to breath.

— Now, what's happening here? — Pietro asked, as soon as Isa backed off, feeling quite suffocated by the two in front of her. Livia widened her eyes at the sight of Pietro, who she didn't expect to follow her at all.

She didn't know that he was probably way more worried about Isa than about her.

Baby, I was just wondering what was happening to Isa. You sure noticed she's acting strange, didn't you? — Livia crossed her arms, suddenly feeling defensive and a bit insecure. Isa keep wandering her eyes between the two of them, as if she couldn't understand what was going to happen right now.

In fact, none of the people in the room did.

— So? What happened?

— You guys really don't have any idea? Pietro? — Isa felt... Bold. Looking at him in an accusatory gaze, he lowered his head, shame all over his face.

Livia frowned and got even closer, blocking the space between Isa and Pietro.

— What are you talking about? Look, I know you're upset about what happened but you forgave me, you told me that day! — Livia got slightly louder, the boy behind her sighed already tired.

— Yeah, and I was really, really dumb. — Isa smiled softly at her, even though there was no humor in her tone of voice. — You really believed I was just gonna forget what happened? Me and Pietro were dating for months and before that, a lot of things happened between us. I was in love, Livia. But I also cherished my friendship. You didn't seem to when you kissed him right away and you both appeared holding hands the next day you both broke my heart!

With eyes widened, Livia didn't get to say anything.

Pietro felt like he couldn't get his eyes off of her... Isa. What did I do to you?

The way she said all those words proved how hurt she actually was, he could feel her anger, her pain. In the moment, how good would it feel to hold her in his arms, the same way she always did with him when he needed?

And he betrayed her.

— But, you... You were the one who told me to go after him! — Livia said weakly, there wasn't any more words to say.
