One fine day, Kirby was chilling at home with his buddy, Fumu. They were both sitting on the floor, leaning against Kirby's bed.

All of a sudden, Bun burst into the room, holding a strange gadget. "Look what I found!" he said.

"What's that?" Fumu questioned. "Poyo?" Kirby said. "It's a teleportation ray," Bun explained. "I found it at Castle Dedede. Holy Nightmare Co. invented it and delivered it to Dedede, so he could summon monsters from other dimensions and hire them to defeat Kirby. I didn't want that to happen, so I stole it from them."

"I don't think you should be playing with that thing," Fumu said. "It could be dangerous!"

"I'm keeping it!" Bun declared. Fumu still wouldn't have any of that, and tried to take it from him. They had a tug of war over the ray, pulling each other outside.

When Kirby saw the ray, he wanted to get his stubby hands on it. "Poyo!" he cried, leaping at the ray, knocking it out of his friend's arms.

In the process, he ended up firing the ray. A large wormhole appeared in front of the group. "Now look what you've done, Kirby!" Fumu said, crossly. "Poyo?" Kirby said.

Just then, a strange being flew out of the wormhole, hit their head against Kirby's house and landed on the ground.

The trio gathered around the being, and saw it was some kind of girl, who had long black hair, a red shirt, black shorts and thick brown socks. She was knocked unconscious from hitting her head.

Fumu was taken by surprise. "This species looks familiar," she said to the others.

They pulled the girl into Kirby's house. Bun grabbed a cushion and slotted it under her head.

They looked on as they awaited the girl's awakening. Then, she let out a groan. Fumu and Bun were taken back.

The girl opened her eyes, looked up and saw the trio staring at her. She stared back at them for a few seconds.

"She's awake..." Fumu whispered.

The girl suddenly screamed at the beings. Fumu and Bun screamed back and hid behind Kirby. "Please don't hurt us!" Bun whimpered.

"I recognize you..." the girl said, quietly, to the others' surprise. She slowly crawled towards the three, then pressed her finger down on Kirby's head. His body was very squishy.

"Are you...Kirby?" the girl whispered. "Of course he is!" Fumu sighed.

The girl looked at Fumu and Bun. "Who are you guys?" she asked. "I'm Fumu," Fumu sighed. "And that's my brother, Bun."

"What are you supposed to be?" Bun asked. "I'm a human from Earth," the girl replied. "I knew it!" Fumu said.

"So, how do you already know about Kirby?" Bun asked. "Where I'm from, he's really popular," the girl explained. "He's popular?!" Fumu and Bun exclaimed in unison.

"That's right!" the girl replied. "Get me a piece of paper and a pencil, and I'll show you."

Fumu reached into a draw and pulled out what they needed. On the paper, the girl drew a strange rectangular object with several buttons, and on the top half of it, she drew a square with Kirby inside it.

"This is a Game Boy," the girl explained. "Kirby's famous because he has a game on it."

"Look, Kirby!" Fumu said. "It's you!" Kirby saw himself in the picture. "Poyo!" he said in surprise.

"By the way, I haven't yet introduced myself," the girl said. "My name's Yukine, it's nice to meet you!"

"Yu...Yu..." Kirby stammered, slowly. The others noticed that Kirby had learned a new word. "Yu...Yu...Yukine..." Kirby murmured.
