IT WAS THE WEEK AFTER CHRISTMAS BREAK. Nadia took a trip with Rory and Sam to Kentucky to spend Christmas with Sam's family. Nadia was originally going to go to Cape Cod with her family but she wanted to go see Sam's family and spend their first Christmas together as a couple, and her parents were fine with it. Nadia got to see Stacey and Stevie over the break and spend lots of time with them and she got a chance to talk to Sam's parents about college and stuff like that. It was fun being around them again and she even got to know Rory a little bit more.
Nadia was currently walking down the courtyard with her friends and they were bombarding her with questions about her relationship with Sam. That's another thing that she was happy about. Sam and Nadia were going strong to the point where it was time for them to say those three little words, but neither one of them knew how to initiate it. I know what you're thinking, it has been four months, so why haven't these two said the L word yet they know they both want to say it.
Well, to answer said question, Sam and Nadia are somewhat new to this relationship thing. They both have been in relationships where one person was giving twenty percent while both of them were giving eighty percent, in short, they were giving their partners all of them while they were playing around with their feelings. This time around, the two of them just wanted to be loved and be loved in return instead of getting their feelings played by someone who wasn't completely in love with them. It's fifty-fifty with each other.
Sam and Nadia knew they were in love with each other and they knew they weren't going to hurt each other. It was just a matter of finding the right moment to say those three words. Anyway, the girls were still bombarding Nadia with questions until she gave in and told them. "Okay, I will tell you chicks what happened if you stop asking me questions."
The girls all squealed sitting around Nadia, abandoning their lunch trays to hear what she did over the summer with Sam. "Okay, so, it's true. Sam and I spent a lot of time together at the lake." Nadia began to explain to them. "We went to my family's summer house and spent a few nights there. We didn't do anything besides watch movies, go swimming, and have dinner together. It was just so nice and relaxing."
