Just Sing

Every troll was disappointed that their music was gone. But within the silence, Cooper's heartbeat begins to thump and glow pink, representing his music, causing the trolls nearby to look at him in confusion. Cooper picks up the microphone Barb dropped and holds it to his chest so everyone can hear it, the sound of his heartbeat filling the stadium. Queen Essence and King Quincy watch in amazement at their sons as Prince D walks over to Cooper and begins to beatbox in rhythm to his brother's heartbeat. "Those are my sons. Making music." Queen Essence commented.

The beat spread to Delta Dawn whose heart glowed country orange. She is moved by the rhythm that she clapped and stomps to the beat. Soon, all the Country Trolls follow her lead and copy her, their hearts glowed orange in the darkness. The sounds of stomping and clapping can be heard throughout the stadium as the glows of orange were soon accompanied by purple, pink, blue, green, and yellow. The sight made the Funk King and Queen smile with pride as the other trolls on stage stared with awe.

"Queen Barb can't take away something that is inside us. Because that's where music really comes from." Queen Essence announced.

"It started with the strings, but now it comes from us." King Quncy added

That made the large group of trolls on stage widen their eyes as they began to feel the spirit of their genre again.

The Techno Trolls in the audience began to vocalize beeps and boops as more hearts began to glow on the stage. Floyd's heart glowed but it was half Hard Rock red and Pop pink. The pop pink glowed in the Snack Pack, Branch, and Poppy's hearts. "Yeah, it comes from our experiences," King Trollex announced.

"Our lives," Delta happily added.

"Our culture," Queen Essence stated with a smile.

"Beautiful. Ha!" Trollzart smiled, admiring the sight.

Poppy looked into the crowd of the tribes with the beating hearts of their genres. She also began to notice more and more red hearts coming from the crowd of Rock Trolls. "Listen to that. Barb can't take that away."

She looked at the Funk Royals who gave her a knowing glance and smile, their purple hearts beating proudly. The Techno Trolls quieted down as Poppy began to sing, with rays of sunlight beginning to break through the clouds.

Poppy:

Let me hear you sing

All the trolls looked at the stage in awe as more sun began to peek through.

Sing it together

Louder than ever

Forget everything

Branch joined in with Floyd. The two brothers sing together just like old times.

Poppy/Branch/Floyd:

Like it's what we've been missing

And they're gonna listen, listen

Forget everything, just sing

On that last syllable, the pink glow from the hearts began to envelop them as their colors returned. Barb looked questioningly at her dad, who was calmly playing his keyboard with Debbie sitting next to him. "It's all right, Barbara. Just let everyone be what they want to be. Including you." The Former King said as he and Debbie regained their colors playing on the keyboard.

Barb stared at him in confusion then she looked at Floyd who started to sing while Queen Essence, King Quincy, Prince D, and Cooper went behind him and began swaying to the beat.
