Adam had a hard upbringing, mostly due to his parents that argued a lot till his mother took him and trained him to the point of almost killing him. It got to the point she called him worthless and left him alone to fend for himself on Earth, where he hated cause of his father.

Yep, two of the craziest, most blood thirsty killers and fuckers in the entire galaxy. How they met was simple, Anissa was ordered to find a suitable mate to repopulate the Viltrumite population, as ordered from Thragg. They fought cause Homelander wanted to show off, which pissed Anissa off but she had to admit he at least survived for 5 minutes against her. So she dragged him to a remote island where they fucked for 48 hours and for some fucking reason, they beat each other as they fucked and ripped their clothes to shreds

Anyway, after that lovely courtship, Anissa was pregnant with a child, so she went through the progress of pregnancy and such. She pretty much ate over 100 boxes of saltines, they had to band her from eating more. So after she gave birth to Adam, as she named him after a warrior who earned her respect on another planet, she trained him to be a great warrior

But sadly he didn't live up to what she wanted, nor what she expected Thragg wanted him to be, so she basically called him worthless and he isn't her son and kicked him to Earth.

He was only 12 at the time, and at that time he already had such great strength he could kick Thors ass. So he started to learn how to survive on his own, he ran with a few gangs at the time, being their muscles as he made a few enemies in his time. Soon as he got enough money, he left the gang life and made a peaceful live near the beach in Prism City, the City of Starlights

So after that, Adam started to believe he can finally live a peaceful life...yeah right

After a few weeks of fighting Emerba, news spread about Adams victory over her and how his powers were similar to Homelander. So Vought tried to convince him to join by sending the Seven to convince him to join him. Which sadly didn't pan out as they expected cause Adam had no intentions of joining a corrupt organization that uses people to make money and shit

Homelander tried to persuade him, cause obviously he doesn't like being doesn't told no, and it ended up with the Seven being the Bloody Seven. He kicked their asses with such ferocity they were starting to see similarities in him and Homelander. Adam told them off and they left, but he knew that wasn't the last time he would see them or his mothers people
