     DEREK?! Scarlett yells out running through the smoke infested hall.
SCAR?! Cora yells out. IN HERE!
as Scarlett's legs run just a little faster as she tries to open the door but it seems jammed.
HEY HEY ARE YOU GUYS BY THE DOOR?!
YEAH WHY? Derek teals out banging on the door.
STEP BACK! Scarlett yells out. as they take a few step back.
Cora yells out. CARLA BE SAFE!
ALWAYS! Scarlett yells out as she blast the door handle as the door flys open. COME ON! Scarlett reaches her hand out as Cora takes it her tugging Derek along. We run down the hall covering our mouths as we run out of the house i let go as i hear Laura's scream.
I have to go get her! Scarlett says as she turns back around just to be met with the arm of Cora.
Be safe little red. Cora whispered to Scarlett as she smiles down to her Scarlett runs back into the burning house.
LAURA! LAURA WHERE ARE YOU! Scarlett yells out.
as she goes to run up the stairs one of the breaks under her weight and she falls down onto the floor hitting her head, as everything goes black.

Scarlett jolts awake
Laura?!
no no honey i'm Amy your nurse.
she looks at her in confusion
the police found you your lucky your alive. Amy says softly as she checks her vitals.
where laura and my parents?! Scarlett says loudly as fear creeps into her senses.
honey- Nurse Amy says softly trying to reassure her.
don't honey me! tell me! now! Scarlett yells sitting up fast pain filling her body.
ah! ouch! what did you do?! Scarlett yells in confusion.
Miss Hale please lay down- Nurse Amy says gently.
No! Scarlett yells out. TELL ME NOW!
ok ok they are gone! Nurse Amy says softly. I'm sorry sweetie-
No! no no no! they can't be no... Scarlett's eyebrows scrunched in confusion tears prick in her eyes.
I will leave you. Nurse Amy says softly exiting the room.
Scarlett sits there as she try's to remember what happened that night but she can't.
Derek and Cora walking into the room running over to Scarlett.
Little red! Carla! They yell running to hug her.
Guys! Scarlett say excitedly holding her little arms open. as they hug her.
You guys wouldn't believe what they are telling me? mom and dad can't be gone and laura too? ha! can you believe them! Scarlett says.
As Derek and Cora just look at each other in silence.
Guys? guys you do know their lying right?
Scar- Derek says
What do you remember Carla... Cora says softly grabbing her hand.
Well we the house caught fire then we all got out...
Cora looks down at me quietly.
Little red- Derek says Scarlett's attention going towards him.
what month do you think it is..? Derek asks gently.
um November...? Scarlett's says in confusion.
Guys what are you on about? Scarlett says in a small voice.
it's January sweetie... Cora says quietly.
oh..so what really happened... Scarlett says in a quiet voice.
You are correct about everything but... Derek starts to speak.
we all didn't get out- Cora says.
what..?
yea...you went back in there and i guess you must have fell and hit your head hard because you where passed out when the fireman found you. they still don't know how you survived... Cora says gently.

6 years later...

beep. beep. beep.
Scarlett's alarm is going off as she wakes up hitting the button to stop the sound. She stretches waking herself up fully. She flicks her wrist and her curtains open as she grabs her diary from her drawer.
Dear diary   I had the dream again...it still sucks to relive..i'm back in beacon hills this year starting freshman year...great...I still wonder why I didn't die that night...but that's all for today. bye!
She closes her diary throwing her covers off herself as her feet met her slippers walking to her bathroom to get ready for the day.

An hour later.

She walks down the stairs of their apartment walking to the kitchen. Meeting the back of Derek.
Good morning Der... Scarlett says softly sitting down as she grabs some fruits, sausage and a piece of toast.
Good morning Carla... Derek grumbles out he is not a morning person.
Hey fruit- She slap his hand away from the coffee. You really should have some fruit or some toast...something-
Derek huffs in annoyance but grabs some berries.
Good wolf- Scarlett teases as she smiles jokingly.
Anyway I have to get to school, I will see you after? She says getting up putting her dish in the sink getting her bag and her shoes on.
Do you not want me to drive you...? Derek says softly.
No I'm fine but thanks anyway sour wolf- Scarlett says walking out the door to her 75' bronco that was Laura's.
She starts the ignition hearing the soft hum of the car the radio softly playing "iris by The Goo Goo Dolls"
as I hum along softly as i drive off towards school.
