"Papa! Papa, can you tell me the story again!" Yelled the little piglin excitedly, even though this story has been told at least a hundred times.A small chuckle escaped the humans lips as he sat down next to the Piglins bed.
"Okay, but do you promise to go to sleep after that?" The person asked, a smile evident in their voice as a small 'yes' came from the ecstatic child.
"One upon a time..."
---Tommy was not a normal child according to the likes of social workers and fellow adopters. He always found a way to get himself into trouble, even if he did nothing at all.
This was always confusing to the young boy, who simply got yelled at for cleaning dishes 'To quickly!' or folding clothes the wrong way.
The real problem is no one ever bothered to sit down and actually explain the right way.
So Tommy was left to guess, try to fit the puzzle pieces in the correct order and make something that could bring the workers some sense of comfort, or at least an understanding that Tommy was relatively good at things.
Unfortunately for Tommy, no one was to understand anything in this nightmarish prison that was the orphanage.
As the child grew older, he was able to see things for what they were.
He knew that no one would bother to foster him, let alone adopt him. He knew that the adoption workers just wanted to throw him out as soon as possible.
He knew that the world was not kind.
From a very young age Tommy understood a few things, stuff like knowing his parents were not coming back. But when Tommy was ten years old, ten years old, he learned that the world would only hurt you.
The world never gave you things, never granted you happiness, never picked you back up when you were down.
The world would push you to the ground and then force you to get back up, just to feel pain all over again.
So Tommy waited
...
But waiting was hard.
And yet, he waited.
And he waited for a long, long time.
And one day he got sick of waiting.
If the world refused to give him a good life, he decided, then he would take it willingly
Wether the world wants him to have it or not.
